Only thing different aside from the mil spec rating is the activity zone app that comes with it. It has a barometer, compass, flashlight and stopwatch within the app. There is also an extra physical button above the volume keys that can be programmed to launch different apps.

I've had this phone for about a week and have been pretty satisfied so far. I didn't care to much for the fingerprint scanner so that missing isn't a big deal to me. Ok thanks for the info. I ordered mine online through verizon. Would you happen to know how that will affect my upgrade? I used the one year upgrade, but new every two would have actually gone into effect at the end of this month. I should have waited from the start but I was getting tired of the Droid that I had.

Hello all, I purchased a phone and am still within my 30 day return window, however my fiancee accidentally threw out the top half of the box that the phone was. Will I still be able to return the phone since I have everything else?

Yep, that is what happens. I catch before sending messages but yea it is definitely bad. The problem had bren reported on other android models as well. For me it happens when I try to reply sometimes, it will have the conversation from who I want to reply to but a different number in the to field.

Alright so I jumped in and took a chance on the fascinate and I actually like the phone, I originally had the droid. However, I am now plagued with the bug that sends messages to the wrong contact. I've had my phone reset and eventually the problem came back. Now my question is would it be worth swapping mine out for a different one or will I more than likely have the same problem? I was interested in getting this phones as well until I read some reviews. The whole Bing thing did not bother me to much since I use the dolphin browser but not having Google maps on there was surprising. You can download it from the pp store but that should be a standard app on all android phones. I don't know how credible this particular sit is but there is an article stating that Google search will be usable ...

The Voyager does not have FOTA (Firware over the Air) you can certainly do the upgrade yourself if you can find the firmware file, DLL and LG Download (the program you use to flash LG phones), it's a pretty simple process. The best place to find the software is humpa.com/vzw.

There is one commercial i saw the other day for the voyager it doesnt really highlight the features of the phone besides the touch screen, basically the commercial has a bunch of voyagers stacked up like dominos and then they use a finger to press the screen and of course the screen comes on the phone falls back and thus the domino affect ends the commercial. kinda lame if u ask me :?

Pic message issue
I dont know if this has happend to anybody else, I have the env and I have the voice alert on, and when I recieve picture messages for some reason my phone will say like 7 different names when the message comes thorugh. does anybody else have this problem?
Early upgrade
Quick question for anyone that might know, I was eligible for the early upgrade but I noticed after gettin my phone number changed I am no longer eligible for it(why I dont know) but i dont have the option to dit anymore online, is there anyway I could get my eligibility back thorugh customer service or am I screwed because I changed my number before using the upgrade when I had the chance?
