Hi everybody I'm looking for a decent pda phone to use, I will admit I am a VZW customer, but I dont like the pda's they have to offer, I basically need a pda phone for business needs since I work with real estate I'd rather have all that stuff in a pda and not tied to my personal phone, so I've been looking at the different ones that tmobile has to offer, and I'm stuck between the blackberry pearl the mda i think it is, and if i should just wait for the tmobile dash to come out, if anyone can help me in this matter with which you guys think is better and why it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Dash- i have had the Dash for almost a week now. I am a T_mobile employee and recieved it early. I was never a Windows Mobile user, always a Blackberry user. My Blackberry 8700 is now collecting dust. I love this device, the size, the feel, the audio, the wifi, blazing speeds at a Starbucks yesterday. I used the MDA for a day and gave it back to a coworker, too bulky and I did not like the stylus and touch screen. I think the email interface on the Dash is great. You will need to consider Suretype versus the full qwerty keyboard as well. Good luck

"business needs" are different for different people even within the same industry

1.) would you like to work on MS Office documents on the go or do you only need to read them?

2.) would you like the ability to install custom programs? i'm not sure if that's popular with real estate agents or not

3.) would you prefer a touchscreen/stylus as well as the keyboard?

I would go with the Blackberry Pearl over the MDA in a heartbeat. I have seen the Dash, but have not used one so I have no real comment there except that I like the way it looks. I'm not in realestate so I'm not sure, but isn't that software ya'll use available for blackberrys?
