I've seen a few posts on here about the hype (or lack thereof) on The Voyager. I just thought I would tell you guys that Verizon has 1 huge billboard and 2 smaller ones next to it, at the entrance to Penn Station in New York. The big billboard had the 4 "next" phones, and the 2 smaller side billboards each featured the Voyager and the Juke. I was really excited to see some sort of hype, and thought I would pass it along. 🙂

I think they could do a hell of a alot better with the hype, they need to hire apples crew to market this thing, I havent seen anything.
\The Voyager is going to be a great phone, they could have marketed it 100000000000 times better

These ads are in most big cities right now.
In the SF Bay Area, there's a rotating billboard coming off the Bay Bridge with the same ad. A couple 100 thousand people a day drive right by it. Seems like a good marketing choice.

I think verizon's thought is it's not about the phone it's about the service so I don't think you will see an iphone like campaign for the voyager.

I dunno...VZW did hype the chocolate up alot. That phone was a bigger hit overseas than it was here...
...
I have yet to see any marketing for the Voyager. They'd do better to have commercials for the Voyager instead of billboards. Billboards reach a much more limited audience.
...
VZW can afford to have both. Billboards are very good because in the right area they are seen by hundreds of thousands of people a day and multiple times a day.
Commercials will come soon I am sure of that, I just hope they will be good.

Yeah, the Chocolate was advertised well, and the Juke had more advertising, but the phone that could generate the most money that they'd made from a cell phone, not so much. I don't understand why they aren't showing it all over tv.

I've seen a commercial for this phone. It doesn't really show the features that much though, and says available soon. I'm sure this week there will be some new ones.

There is one commercial i saw the other day for the voyager it doesnt really highlight the features of the phone besides the touch screen, basically the commercial has a bunch of voyagers stacked up like dominos and then they use a finger to press the screen and of course the screen comes on the phone falls back and thus the domino affect ends the commercial. kinda lame if u ask me 😕

I saw at least 6 TV commercials for the phone over the weekend, and I'm not a big TV watcher. I've also seen several billboards here in the Phila area.
...
The only one I saw was the dominos...
