I had this issue and an issue with my call log. Turns out turning off the auto update feature fixed it. I am guessing it was an issue with a tower having the wrong date and time.

Acutally I finnaly kind of figured it out. Every time I get this call from a certian number it says the date is 4/1/2008.. no other number does this... I get this call at least once a week from work so it then makes it look like it's in random order. I hope that makes sense. I just wish I knew why this call is coming from the future?!?!?!

Anyone have any clue? Someone suggested to check my date and time and I did but it's correct plus it's on auto date and time so it should not ever be off.

Date and time is correct and it's on auto so it wont go off anyway. Anyone have anything like this... I cant find any support any where... plus I looked and I dont see in the manual a way to change the sorting.

When you do an email setup outside of xpress mail it gives you the option of POP3/IMAP and outlook email which you can synch if connected. So it might work for you... never had an IMAP

Are you planning on using POP mail like Gmail or corp email? If it's pop then you wont need xpress mail and you can set it to update every 15 minutes which keeps my mail box pretty up to date. Xpress mail can be pushed but sometimes it does not work that well so I also have my xpress mail to update every 15 minutes for my work email.

Did you get your xpress mail installed? If not you can jsut got to https://xpressmail.cingular.com/subscriber/cr eate_slingshot_user.stp?pe_reg_flow=true register and it will send you a link to download it. Be sure to have a unlimited data plan because it will eat up data using push.

I have only found a way to do just one. But on the black jack you can use Xpress mail and then also set up other mail but it does not have push possibilty with out xpress mail.

Black has xpress mail. I cant say for sure it's the same as on the phones you mentioned. I use Xpress Mail for my work email on my blackjack.

I like the example about the camera phone. HAHAHA. I have never had a phone with GPS but I do have a portable one for my car and the only time I use it is when I travel for work... other than that not much use for it for me.

hmmm.... Anyone else ever see this happen. I wonder how this can happen. I have been in 3G area's before but I have had my phone replaced since then.

Is there 3G coverage in the west texas area? I had to reboot my phone today and for about 15 minutes my phone showed as 3G then wnet back to Edge. I looked at the website and found nothing abotu current coverage. I had this happen once before. I would apeprciate any info.

I read that Cingular was now selling the BlackJack with an extended battery and door. I bought the blackJack with two battires. Does anyone know if they are giving out the extended battery and if there is a way for me to get one without buying it?

Can you not add? first phone 59.99 second line 9.99 = 69.98.... WOW! that was hard... or first phone 39.99 + second line 19.99 = 59.98. I guess T-Mobile adds both lines for you because they know their customers can not add.

your billing is not a full month in advcne. for example my bill date starts on the 10th of every monh. My bill is due on the 28th over every monty. and I am paying untill the 10th of next month. So lets say my bill that is due on 9/28 my bill is acutally for the period of 9-11 to 10-10. Make sense? so it is not a full month in advance that you are paying.

Hey I am not trying to convince you about anything.... But yes SBC does own a part of cingular... But they are ran completly diffrent... They have a diffrent way of life in away. think about it... Starting from the reps to all the way up the the CEO are not part of SBC. Something to think about. I wonder is Verizon Wirless under a diffrent management staff than the land line verizon or dsl?

I work as a staffing manager for callcenters... and double volume does not mean double your staff. Couple of things to add. you had said something about him being on a home 500... sounds like a TDMA plan. Some reps will allow you to add a GSM to a TDMA and some reps won't. It can be done though. If he does have TDMA and the reps will not allow GSM on it then you will have to find a used TDMA phone since cingular does not sell those anymore... Maybe from Ebay. If they let ...
