AT&T Announces Unlimited Calling Plans

Not at all surprised...

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today new unlimited voice plans targeted to wireless users who want the predictability of flat rate pricing for unlimited minutes. The plans will be available to new and existing wireless subscribers for $99.99 a month for unlimited U.S. calling on all devices with no domestic roaming or long distance charges. The plans can be combined with any current wireless data plan to give customers the ultimate in wireless freedom.

The new plans, available Feb. 22, can be ordered at one of AT&T's 2,200 company-owned retail stores and kiosks, at www.att.com, or at one of the thousands of authorized AT&T retail locations. Existing customers can choose unlimited calling without extending their c...

The news article is a little confusing. Will I be able to have unlimited voice on my blackberry? I already have the $50 unlimited data/messaging.

yes. you can use the unlimited and add any data package. (depending on the phone you have)

right! at&t wasn't creative enough to come up with it so they just copied verizon... just like they did with rate plans back in '04. randall needs to clean house with the mobility devision... get rid of all the 'old telco' guys and get some fresh ideas flowing... we need our own prices for things instead of just verizon pricing.

This is Coke/Pepsi crap all over again. Our prices were always the same and the only thing selling the product is the Rep or the demographic in the area. Really sucks that Tee Mow Bile comes out and beats both of them as well. But in my convoluted thinking its like 7UP undercutting Coke/Pepsi. Sounds really good if you like to watch product/service sit around.

Can't wait to see the ATT family unlimited plans.

I see online that the family plan is 99.99 and then 99.99 for each line? I fi want unlimted for all lines I have to pay 499.95?!?!? Any idea if they plan on discounting that a little? maybe 30 per line?

I am a bit curious. How long will these promotional deals last! I mean I dont think they will be around for that long. When I see an unlimited plan for voice its usually around 199.99 !!!! ANyways if anyone has a heads up as to how long any of these will last let me know please!
