From what I understand, it's the same thing at COR. You only get full pay on an upsell if they've had the original pack for 6 months or more.

I don't push for that kind of thing. I ask once, and if they don't want to give it, I let them know I can run without the SSN, but I'll definitely need a second form of ID, and it will be probable that they will get a higher deposit than if they supplied the SSN. Most of the time, they give it at that point, and if not, I don't feel bad because I told them ...

I don't have an exact date, but from what I understand, the 800 along with a few others are being made by Sanyo. It's not exactly iDEN though, it's QChat, which doesn't actually use the iDEN network.

It was Black Friday too. His phone didn't work, I couldn't do anything but I told him to go to service and repair. He couldn't upgrade cuz the phone was in his wife's name, he wanted the phone transferred in his name but that takes time...so he threw the phone at me!
Local PD was behind him the whole time... :D

Tim Donohue did facilitate the merger, but I have a feeling it was because he was ready to step down, and who better to take the reigns than another large carrier? What he didn't take into effect was how dirty the legacy Sprint reps really are, and their execs along with it. Sprint didn't care about Nextel's products or services, just the ARPU, something they were severely lacking.
But things changed, and the Nextel execs starting jumping ship. ...

I totally feel eljeffe on this one. I can't tell you how many times I tried to explain something to a customer and they're like "no, that's not how it is." Sometimes you really just get moments away from knocking the dumb customer right on his or her ass...

When I can tell a pain-in-the-arse customer that I can't help them. Sometimes when the come in throwing around a bad attitude, I professionally give them three chances to calm down and show me the same professional respect. If they blow all three, which sometimes they do, I tell them I can't help them and to take their business elsewhere. I don't put up with that crap. I figure I'm just doing my part to ...
