I know how that goes, I just assume everything is for Christmas, so I ask on every sale now. But we can't post activate an upgrade anyway, so those people usually just come back later.

From what I've heard from other reps and some customers as well is that if you don't have a signal at your house, then you can get out of the contract without paying the etf. From what I've heard you have to give a physical address so Verizon can verify that there is no signal where you're at. Not sure if its completely true, but it might be worth looking into. You should e-mail him back telling him thanks for the heads up. Also tell him that you think the system is back up and running again, and to let you know if it ever shuts down again.

Here's the issue... I have a customer who wants to upgrade her phone, and add a line. She wants to post date the activation on the add a line till right before christmas, the thing I want to know is; Since its not a family plan yet, will I still be able to post activate the add a line?

Only thing I could think of is going to a corporate store to see if they have any, or calling motorola. If nothing else you could find a friend with one and steal one of theirs, they probably wouldn't notice :lol: :lol: :lol:

For anyone who doesn't know, it is now LEGAL in the city of Denver. Anyone over the age of 21 can have up to an ounce. Although it is still illegal in the State of Colorado. I know it was posted on the main page that Cingular was shutting down all pre-paid tdma sales in about three months. The question I have is are they shutting down all of the TDMA on there network as of the 1st of the year? Or is it just on pre-paid phones?

I know that you can use the Data Cable aka Mobile Office Kit and bitpim to transfer pictures from your phone to your computer. I have the LG8000, and I transfer all my pics as well as make my own ringtones and put them on my phone. Not sure if it works the same for the 6100, but that would be the cable your customer was looking for. Hope this helps.

I've heard that this phone is'nt going to be offered at corporate stores, only through indirect. Anyone else heard this??? I also heard that the BT won't be as hampered, and you'll be able to do the file transfers with it. Any thoughts?
