My Lgvx5550 is having some problems well just one problem. The welcome screen is just flashing on and off on the internal and the external display. I think it may be a loose battery connection but not sure let me know.

I'm ignorant when it comes to technology.....how do I go about downloading MP3's to my VX8100? Can I plug a usb directly from my phone to a PC then download them to the mini sd, do I need to get some sort of mini sd adapter, etc? Please help!!!

Also, does anyone know where I can find a chart that shows approx. how many mp3's can fit on a 64MB, 128MB, 256, 512, 1GB mini sd card?

I have an LG VX6100 and recently the charger port on the phone has broke. The phone works but I no longer have a way to recharge the battery. No insurance on the phone. I need an idea on how I can make or purchase a "desktop" style charger for this phone so I can recharge the battery while it is disconnected from the phone. Also if someone has a broken VX6100 that still charges the battery I would be intersted in it.

This started on 9/12 and I posted it to another forum, but with no answer to my situation. I am reposting it here because it's possible that this community has a bit of a different angle that it can provide. It's long, so get some Joe.

does anyone know if there is a way to disable the speakerphone completely on the vx4650. the placement of it on the outside of the phone is cumbersome and I always seem to hit it and turn on the speakerphone when I least want to. i'd love to be able to disable it completely if at all possible, then re-enable it when I know i want to use the speakerphone. ...yah, it's a stretch, but i figured it's worth a shot to ask.

I need to buy 50 tri-band phones without PTT, and 5 with PTT. My number one priority is reception (analog & digital), followed by reliability.

Found quite a bit of info about the above phones, not all of it good. In particular the VX3300 and VX6100 seem to have relatively poor reception. On the other hand, the VX4650/4700 seems to be a great phone.

As you can imagine, with this kind of a financial commitment, I don't want to make a bad decision. I am limited to the current Verizon offerings and a price range of $50 or less. Bar vs clamshell is not important.

The 50 phones without PTT will be used in vehicles with car kits.

The 5 phones with PTT will have light duty use by office staff.

I'm getting a new cell phone soon and must choose between the two LG phones, the main things I am looking for in a phone are reception and the quality of the camera. I live in an area with horrible reception so I need a good phone in that respect! If someone could tell me which of the two phones has a better camera and reception I would appreciate it, as well as a bit about the phones in general!

I just got two adaptors off ebay that were marked as stereo. The adaptor does have correct amount of contacts but it only plays the right sound channel. 😡

Guys and Gals... I need help! I have an account at www.myphonefiles.com where i can send custom ringtones and pix to my phone but when they arrive there is nothing there. Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong? I send ringtones fine and i have succesfully sent one pix to my phone(a while back) but i am getting nothing now. Also, what is the perfect dimensions for the wallpaper to be displayed. the one pix i did send to my phone does not cover the whole screen. I need your help!

Are there any options for person's) wanting to add ring-tones to their LGVX4650 which is currently on the EasyPay Plan through Verizon? Are there any links on-line that might help answer my question. Have several song tunes that I would like to use for my ring-tones but can't use Get it Now features on my phone, but do have access to the Internet. A friend of mine mentioned some type of data cable/usb .. any help would be appreciated greatly!! 😉

Hey i just bought the LG 8100 and a memory card for it but the memory card does not recognize mp3's on the card only midi and gcp sounds

I dont know if verizon wireless locked this or if its a phone thing but i know it can be unlocked to play full mp3's if someone can help that would be great

I just got my phone and I know it has a speakerphone function but I read the booklet and cannot figure it out 😳 DUH! I know it must be simple but I am going NUTS!! Help!!!

I am unable to access the jpeg files on my SDmini card via my vx8100 phone. When I check the card memory via the phone it does indicate that there is some content on the card but when I check for pixs, nothing shows up. Can anyone help?

FYI. The picture resolutions are 640 X 480, and the average size of each pic is about 40 kb.

I know for a while all the cdma phones for any carrier said VX but us cellular phones are now UX alltel phones are now AX and the verizon ones are still VX, is that what the model numbers actually mean? i have thought so for quite some time i just wanted confirmation

I just got a UX-4750 and it looked so bland so I got a new face plate but how do you install it I got it all appart but how do you get the old face plate off of the key-pad half?? and does anyone have the service codes for it I got a data cable but it needs the service code to work
