I previously had the LG vx8100. I used bitpim to put several mp3's on my phone as the ringer. I now have the lg vx5200 and am interested in doing the same. How do I put mp3's in this phone as ringtones. I still have bitpim hoever it is not reading the phone. What other software do I need. It has been a number of years since the last time I did this. I completely forgot how to do it. Thanks!

I have a 512mb Mini SD card and when I put it in my phone only some of the songs show up. Is there anything I can do so that I can get all of the songs that are on my card to show up?

was hoping someone could help point me, i got my dad a 4400 on verizon and lately/suddenly he's roaming alot from same area. i wanted to check to see if perhaps by accident the roaming pref's changed but looked all over the manual no info

anyone know how i can check to see what mode the roaming pref's are in and how to toggle them

what media is authorized to be sent as a multimedia message on a LG 1300? evertime i try to send one it just tells me Unauthorized media. HELP!

Anyone know of a software that will allow me to sync my outlook with the contacts/calender on my LG UX 4750. We have tried DATA PILOT which said it was compatible but it wasn't.

Help! I'm having a lot of fun with my new VX-8100 from Verizon and have been playing with the bluetooth and my Mac G4, which have paired successfully, and though I haven't sprung for a BT headset (got a lot of other toys for my phone already), I have tried pairing my phone to my Palm Tungsten T5 with some frustrating results.

1) Fie upon Palm - there are more than GSM phones on this planet, so why does it only show drivers for such phones on the bluetooth link. Very disappointing. So, so much for trying to pair by initiating the pair with the T5.

Does anyone know how to get one? My phone works 110% is awesome! love it! but the earpiece jack little rubber cover fell off! :X I only used it ONCE! didn't mistreat it or nothin, it just fell! lol..

The problem I am encountering is that I have purchased 2 usb data cables. I have not had any luck attempting to connect my LG VX8100 phone to the internet from my laptop. Any suggestions. Both cables I bought state that they do not support the mobile internet or modem access though this phone. Is this true? I know there is always the Bluetooth usb adapter or dongle, however now that I have the two cables I would like to try to use one of these. ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED. Thanks!

Has anyone checked out the VX9800 yet? It looks pretty cool, but I haven't heard many opinions of it.

this is annoying: if i miss a call and someone leaves me a message, my phone does not tell me i have a message until i flip it open. is there a setting i don't know about where the phone will tell me that i have a message without having to do this?

ok, i'm over the fact that i cannot use bluetooth with my 8100 and my Mac. grrrr.....
now do i need a card reader for my miniSD if i bought DataPilot? (i haven't received it yet, so i'm not sure if i need one or not.)
i'm going to be transferring images from my computer onto my phone. and vise versa.

Anyone working with or for LG that knows when accessories for the VX-9800 will be out? Cases, cables, etc.

I purchased the 8100 a month ago. I finally figured out how to get the phone to play mp3's when Verizon wireless told me that it didn't. I was told I can set one of the mp3's as a ringtone. I have not figured out how. Any suggestions? I am also trying to figure out which format I need to convert movies, so I can view them on my phone. I was told I could download them onto the mini sd card and play them through my flix. Please help! I am getting frustrated. 😕

Good morning! I'm wondering if some here may be able to help me decide what is best for us in regards to a new phone. We currently have two LG 3200's, through Verizon, but need to get out of the family contract we are in. I have the chance to jump over to Sprint, who also has our land line and DSL service, which would allow me to connect with my husbands Nextel using mobile to mobile. My hesitation however, mainly lies with their choice of phones.

I'm not familiar with a lot of phones, so I would love some input. My first phone was an old Nokia (which I actually loved), and then a Kyocera (which I totally hated). However, we now have the LG 3200 and absolutely love it. I've only had it for a few months, and really hate to part with...
