I have an LG VX3200. I bought an extended life battery for it b/c the original battery doesn't even last 10 min. while talking on it. The battery I bought says that it is to be used w/ the phone that I have, but when I put the new battery in, the phone says "Use genuine battery" and powers down. Does anyone know why it would do this or a way to get around it? Is the battery I bought useless?

Does anyone know if this phone is out yet? If it is out, where can I get one? If not, when will it be out and where?

I now know that my LG1400 is a discontinued cell phone thru cingular, so I dont know what type of support, if any is available for it.

My question is, my dad has the razr flip, and when he got it, he erased the games and other stuff that a dad would'nt use on the phone to free up space for memory and such.

When he got it, the phone wasnt capable of recording video, but he flashed the phone thru some website, and now its able to do such, and upgraded the system of the phone. Does the LG have such capability. Can one "upgrade" the phones systems or capabilities? I dont mind not having video capture, but can anything else be flashed for it?

I could not find an option in the menu that allows me to select the network manually???

I am sure it is possible but as I have lost the manual, I can not work out how to do it.

I just purchased a 512MB miniSD card for my LGvx8100 phone. I intend to use it for picture storage and MP3 songs. I turned my phone off, inserted the card, turned on the phone, left it on for several hours, turned the phone off, took the card out, and inserted it into a pqi usb card reader, then inserted it into my computer. When I go to my computer and tried opening the usb device, my computer keeps telling me to insert a card into the usb portable device. The card is already in the usb card reader.

It is my understanding that I am to follow the procedure that I listed above, and that would add folders to the miniSD card. Does anyone have an idea of what my problem is?

Hello i was wondering if anyone knows how to place a recorded ringer to your ringer id in the LG 8100 . i recorded some ringers from my PC by placing the phone next to the speakers it records but it wont allow me to place it with the person i want it to go to . can anyone help me out on this . Please . Thank You

I have a vx4400. The phone shows five bars and verizon wireless. But when I try to make a call the reception goes to zero and sometimes the call will go through but on the extended network and not verizon. Sometimes the call will not go through at all. Sometimes it goes through on the verizon network. But mostly the call will just not go through. It is not a reception issue because I can use two other phones one of which is a vx4400 at the same time without any problems.

I just bought this phone used and was able to activate it and use it without any problems for 1 day. Any ideas?

Looks like the NYTimes has an early picture of the LG vx-9000. Article states a release date of Oct.1 2006. Any one have more info.?

i don't own the phone yet but i was wondering how many songs the phone could hold and if it drowns out the battery fast or not

I have a vx8100. I just purchased mini sd, and data cable. I downloaded bitpim v.8.05. I installed driver for cable, ran bit pim, selected only available com port (com3) and bit pim cannot detect my phone.

Can anyone walk me through the steps I need to take?

😢 My husband and I both ended up buying the LG 4650. On paper and with lots of research (on the hubby's part) it looked like a good phone to have. My problem is when I call my husbands cell the phone(s) gives off a high frequency whine (lasts a good minute or more) every time we talk cell to cell. If I call any other phone I have no problems with it. It doesn't whine when I call any other cell phone whether it's another verizon LG or some other cell phone. No whining when I call house phones either. It only happens when I call the hubby's cell or he calls mine from the cell phones. We bought these phones less than 48 hrs ago. I'm having a hard time finding a vx 9800 data cable in my area, but I was able to find a 7000 data cable. I want to know if it would be possible to use the 7000's data cable on a 9800.

I just purchased two 8100's from my Verizon store. I love the volume and clarity on the speaker phone - it's my first phone that has the feature - but everyone tells me there's a serious echo on their end. I see on previous posts that this is a known issue - has there been a fix?

If the problem can't be solved, I'm thinking about returning them for a pair of e815's. Does that phone suffer from the same problem?

I have a hearing loss and wear hearing aids. I was celless for several years as a result. I have been ecstatic since stumbling across the VX4400 a couple of years ago. I can hear and understand conversations with the VX4400, due to the excellent voice quality and reception, that give me difficulty on other phones. The various phones I've tested at the VRZ store have proved unsatisfactory. I had difficulty in hearing and understanding on any that were recommended.

All dogs have their day, so I know some day this phone will have had its day. But I'm nervous about replacing my security blanket, the VX4400.

Does anyone know where I can find comparison data for voice quality, reception and loudness?
Or, where I could still buy a NEW L...
