STUPID BEACH

Spend an hour and half walking her through adding two new lines with a buy one get one free smart phone, free activation, and free overnight shipping. She knew beforehand she may not be able to bill to account and said that was okay. We get to payments and she can't and just effing hangs up. 😑

Dear customers,

I can't move or cancel your internet/home phone service/dish network. I can't fix your TV's/ phones/routers. I can only sell you a cell phone.

Please stop calling me.

Love,
Scooty

Permanent - prove your problem

This should be a permenant sticky thread.

If in the future anyone wants to complain about plans or experiences, proof must be made.

Billing discrepencies should be posted via a free picture account with its link, as in photobucket (where the link is displayed below the uploaded picture, html works fine).

If you have a bad service experience (phone/online) you should go to a store and literally talk face to face with someone. If you get the same response, then be willing to understand it may be your problem and not the carrier. However, if the carrier has made the mistake the person will give you a sorry and tell you how to rectify it, or fix it there if possible.

The guy in the cow suit

On the way to work I passed a fast food place which had a guy in a cow costume holding a sign and waving at people.

I was jealous.

Pocket Dial!

I occasionally do this.

Customer in store, telling you their life story that you've already heard a billion times. No one else in line behind them. They will keep talking to you until you become busy. So I pocket dial. I have the store number on my speed dial. Once the phone rings, the customer wraps it up and they're on their way. I answer the phone as I would if it were an actual person calling. Poof! All gone! 😈

For your reading pleasure

Hey all! Haven't posted here for a very loooooong time. Thought I'd drop in and say hi 😁 and drop this link to stupid customer stories http://notalwaysright.com/

While these stories are pretty funny, I swear to God, it's people like these that make me hope and pray that 2012 actually *does* wipe us out. Enjoy!

Adjustments

It's only the 10th and my adjustments percentage is shot for the month. I'm not handing out discretionary adjustments either. Just real deserved, valid adjustments to fix someone else's mistake. In two of those cases they were adjustments someone had promised and even noted, but not applied. I think I'll talk with my sup tomorrow and see if we can get those 2 pushed back to the source of the problem somehow. I don't like cleaning up other people's messes, but I really hate taking the fall for someone who was just too lazy (or concerned with their own adjustments) to do right by the customer in the first place.

These customers are f'in' belligerent!

I had a guy today growling and cursing at me because I wasn't 100% positive he could upload photos from his phone to Facebook, and because I told him we don't provide tech support to Facebook, so I couldn't tell him exactly HOW to do it.

He starts yelling and slandering me and cursing and -

and I just said "thank you for calling, have a nice day." *CLICK*

And my supervisor said I did right.

F*ck these goddamn people, man. F*ck them in their stupid azzes.

Loyal Customer?

What makes these customers think they are loyal customers? most of them I have ever had to talk to thinks they've been with us 3-4 more years than they actually have been, and have had multiple late fee's, non-pay suspends and have had the gull to call in to get the f'ing restoral fee waived. WHAT MAKES YOU LOYAL YOU @#$&^%@!!!!

do not call sign up for cell phones

REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month.

REMINDER...... all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies.

You may start to receive sales calls.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:

1- 888-382-1222

It is the National DO NOT CALL list It will only take a minute of your time.
It blocks your number for five (5) years.

You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked.

You cannot call from a different number or it wonΓƒΒ’Γ’β€šΒ¬β„’t work.

booyah...

cust: i have the world connect on my line & im looking at my bill & it looks like i've been charged the full rate for calling overseas.

me: well ma'am, i've looked back to 2008 & you've never had the world connect on your line but i do see that you have it on another line.

cust: if i have it on the other line, then why am i being charged the full rate?

me: ma'am you have to apply it on the line that you are dialing from to take advantage of the discounted calling rate. it's not a group feature, it's a applied per line.

cust: oh...i thought if you put it on the account that it covered everyonte.

me: no ma'am, it has to be applied to the line that you are doing the calling on to work.

cust: i didn't know that

me: no pro...

No, ma'am, we will pay your ETF in essence, not literally

We'll issue you a credit to your account for your previous carrier's ETF. Oh, looks like we already did. Yeah, 4 months ago.

We won't LITERALLY pay your other carrier for the ETF.

Dummy.

Pay the collection agency, ya twerp.
