T-Mobile 5 dollar add a line!?!?!?!?!?

Customer- So you can add a line for 5 dollars

Me-Yes

Customer- But i'm paying 39.99 for my additional line.

Me- That's true.

Customer- Cancel that line and add one for 5 dollars.

Me- Your other phone lines will be required to switch to a minute plan. 5 dollar add a line applies to 750/1500 family share plans. It doesn't work for unlimited minutes.

Customer- You don't know what your talking about. I'm going to call customer care and they will give it to me

So if someone in one of the call centers get this call, you've been warned ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Required means you have to have it!

For almost 10 months now AT&T has REQUIRED that any smartphone added to an account have the $30 data package. Ever since I have at least 1 customer a day asking, "is there any way I can get around that?" NO. It is REQUIRED. MANDATORY. We can not waive or block the internet on your blackberry. I don't care taht you bought it just because it has a full keyboard. That is why we offer messaging phones with full keyboards. Having a blackberry doesn't make you look cool or important. It's just a phone.

Motorola Warranty Issue

Anyone ever deal with Motorola Dealer Support before? I have ten dead bluetooth headsets that won't charge, straight from box. Bought fifteen in October, not as big sellers as I thought, first five were okay apparently, and these I just tested because one was returned and they're all junk.

Anyway, if you call Motorola Dealer Support they say they don't cover dealer bluetooth, only consumer. They told me to call Tessco. Well, I dind't buy them from Tessco so that's stupid. My vendor has a 90 day return so they're out of the question.

The only thing I can think of is to be a consumer and swap them 1 or 2 at a time. I'm certainly not going to sell them and have my custoemr do it, that's just rude.

Offers that have been hard (and easy) to refuse.

I have always been a pretty ethical guy when it comes to selling phones, but sometimes the females get to me. My favorite is when they offer "favors" in exchange for discounted or free phones.

Example, a girl the other day asked me what I would give her if she showed me the bad photos of her that were on her phone, I replied nothing. She then, and not very timidly at all, asked me how low I could go on the price of the phone if she offered "goods and services" instead of cash.

I calmly explained to her that we were unable to use the barter system at our kiosk but feel free to call this number here to see what other sales I had in another location...

Have any of you recieved "special offers" from customers????

ETF's and the mentally challenged....

Now, when I say mentally challenged, in this case I'm referring to the everyday customer that seems to think that the terms and conditions they agreed to don't apply to them.

I had a call were the customer was disputing ETF's because they paid for the amount of service that was remaining on their contract and then ported the numbers to another carrier before the contract ended. They argued "I paid for the service so I could port out and you can't charge me the ETF because I paid for the service!"

When you port out dear customer, it cancels your service so we cannot charge you for it. You then have cancelled before the end of the contract. Guess what...PAY YOUR ETF, you broke the contract.

My faith in humanity drops with each call......

(Note: Customer had almost completed the order at this point.)

Me: So what are you ordering today?
Custy: ok now the reason why I want to order this new phone is because my glide touch screen is not working.
custy: and i do not have insurance on it
Me: Are you eligible to upgrade?
Custy: yes
Custy: but does this blackberry have to have the web access for 29.99 or can i choose the 9.99 for it
Me: You'd have the have the $29.99 data package with the phone.
Custy: ok now since i have a family plan can't i recieve some type of discount every month on the bill, wow with the 29.99 my bill will be really high
Me: Yes, about $30 higher.
Custy: Do you receive a discount through your employer?
Me: no i do not
Custy: but can i still get a...

Customer care, I love you and I HATE YOU SO FREAKING MUCH!

Let me start this by saying I honestly love you guys in the call center, you take a lot of sh!t so I don't have to but sometimes there are some little things I'd just like you to fess up to...

SITUATION; I hear this a LOT more than I should "I called customer care and they told me to come in and get a new SIM card"

-More often than not it's a simple problem with the phone, or its something that will require a warranty exchange that could have easily been done over the phone

PLEASE CONFESS: Do you tell people it's the SIM card just to get them to come to a store and get off the phone with you???
