Your thoughts please

I think I have a solution that the carriers/manufacturers should do. Persons who do everything buy phones online, the others come in to the store. So the store should sell the dumb phones and expect all the old ppl, lazy and slow, effectively this will dwindle as the older non-computer generation die off.

Thus eventually the store's will go the way of home service and eventually only a few brick and mortars will remain.

Because my credit card has been declined on 5 seperate occasions with 5 different reps and your over the phone payment center!!!

Should I click next?

I cannot stand when a customer calls in and we have to walk through s set up wizard of some sort and they always ask...it says I need to accept the terms and conditions...what do I do? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU SHOULD DO? really? then they ask should I click next...no just stare at your computer until it magically fixes itself...aaahhhh

How do you deal with....

customers that play the race card when it comes to fees (like activation or upgrade) or prorated charges. by playing the race card it's either they're being charged that because they are a minority OR we won't credit it because they are a minority.

In all my years of management I have not received a more heartfelt kudos than I did today for one of your agents. Briefly let me relay the situation. Ms. Margaret Smith of Huntsville, AR called in because she was not getting service on her phone last night. Tiffany Sligh was the agent that assisted her with her issue. Ms. Smith went on to say that she needed the phone working because she talks to her Grandfather every evening because he has been seriously ill. Tiffany was so helpful in getting her service restored to working order that she was able to talk to him last night at about 9PM. At 4AM this morning he passed away. A tearful Ms. Smith wanted to relate that what Tiffany did was extremely important to her,...

ahhhhh lovely customers today

This lady called in wanting to upgrade to the Refurb BB 9700 and wanted online pricing. I advised her that we do not carry that phone over the phone, we do not match web pricing, and that she would have to order it online. Customer asked to speak with my supervisor so he can make her the phone and send it out to her.....

If your kid downloads games on his phone

charges are not going to be waived. they are valid due to you being a stupid parent. don't ever come to someone demanding a credit because YOUR kid, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, got you charged for these downloads. screw you and burn in hell.

The person sitting next to me works in our emails dept. He recieved the following letter today.

Subject Sad News!!!

"I'm writing this with tears in my eyes, I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now, I'm stuck in london United Kingdom right now, I came down here on vacation, I was robbed, worse of it was that bags, cash, cards and my cell phone were stolen off of me at GUN POINT, so I only have access to my emails, it was such a crazy and brutal experience for me and i was hurt on my right hand, but I'm glad I still have my life. I need help flying home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive, I have been to the embassy and the police here in londo...

Another customer with the same old BS. Just for clarification. Can anyone on any network carrier here see any of the phones that will be out in 2012? I have gotten this question about 10 times in the past 2 hours. And if you have that magical crystal ball please let me use the dang thing. ๐Ÿ™‚


And had a little 8 year old kid playing on my chat asking if I would do a porn with him. ๐Ÿคจ

On top of that parents out there beat your kids for nonsense like that. ๐Ÿคฃ

Wave after wave of customers today.... this is like the Korean War

They just keep coming and coming, and they don't STOP! MAKE IT STOP!

Seriously, longest wait between calls today has been a minute and a half. Most of the day they've been coming one after the other nonstop.

STOP THE INSANITY!

customers.....

i want all of you shmucks to call in & say you weren't told about any of the charges, i don't care what the charge is...proration, upgrade fees, activation, tobr? anything, when you call AT&T so i can give you $250.00...i figure if i do that 50 calls a day? hmmmm...thats what? 12500 a day? 375,000 a month? yeah, that sounds about right!!
