why do customers panic if they get dropped calls every NOW & THEN? seriously?

customer: is there an outage in my area?

me: are you at 1234 abc rd?

customer: yes

me: i don't see an outage in your area sir

customer: well i wasn't at my home addy i was at 12345 10 miles away from my house rd

me: sir, i don't see any indication that there is an outage anywhere in the vicinity of your home addy

customer: i told you i wasn't at my house, i was at 12345 10 miles away from my house rd!!

Lonely Old People

Why is it old people call in with an issue or a question that should be resolved within 5 minutes and then they spend an hour and a half telling you their life story? Look lady I don't have time to gab about your denture adhesive and why you're on a limited income. I don't really care what you want to talk about just tell me your issue and stfu!

I got a call today and the guy straight out said...I am on drugs I just want you to know up front and I am frustrated, I don't even want to talk about what god did to me...and let me tell you, I did confirm he was on drugs man people need to set down the crack pipe!

me: hmm well im sorry to inform you but your not eligible until 12/10. But your eligible for an early iphone upgrade.

cust: no! i want my iphone now at the full discount and dont try to bs me!

Cust: my phone cant make or receive calls so I want you guys to fix it for me.

Cust: I want to get a new phone and order over the phone.

Lets say a store sales rep "accidentally" killed a customer...

I'm just curious. I mean, hypothetically speaking what would happen if you were working in a store location and a severely annoying customer was constantly harrassing you about getting an upgrade early because their phone fell in water and they refused to put insurance on it and now you are an evil company who is purposely trying to suck all of the money out of everyone who subscribes to your service and you accidentally hit them over and over again in the head with a shovel you found in the supply room?


And what if your manager saw you do it and is now hiding in the supply room with the door locked because he is afraid you will do the same thing to him, not because he witnessed what happened, but because he scheduled you to work on eve...

Let me tell you...

I talk to about 60 retarded people everyday I work four days a week, so 60*4=240 retarded people every week then 240*3weeks=720 restarded people in a month and so on. It amazes me that I don't run into more people outside of work that call in so that I can tell them to shoot themselves in the face in order to better the population. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Portland ACS, this is not right.

I want to make the world aware of how bad it is working at ACS on the Sprint project in Portland, OR. There's a new policy that gives you an idea of what we deal with. We work under an "ABC" or Activity Based Compensation system, which is effectively a stacked-deck piece rate system, or pay per call.

At first, this seems innocent enough when you read the new policy. Remember that we are not being paid for the outbound calls we make, and are not getting an opportunity to take inbound calls for money while we are effectively acting as outbound Telesales.

anyone else have this problem?

this is for at&t custy care reps....

i tried to add dtau to a custys line, he called in because the prev. month he got a notification for excessive usage on mppu & the rep added dtau but it was associated with a 30 day promo. at the end of the 30 day promo, instead of leavin him on the $10.00 dtau it expired it & the system put him back on mppu resulting in another notification for excessive usge on mppu.

so he calls me & i try to add dtau back onto the line for him & it wouldn't do it without the promo, when i tried to delete the promo soc associated with dtau it would remove the feature entirely. when i tried to do it through phoenix, it also tried to add the promo soc associated with it & when i went to save it would say that he al...

Today can't go any slower...

I've been here for over 5 hours and I still have another 3 to go. We haven't sold a single phone all day long. I think we've had a total of 15 people in all day. It's gorgeous outside and no one is thinking about cell phones. This is so lame. Thank God I can sit here and watch TV since we've already cleaned the entire freaking store. I kind of wish I had some new product training to do or something...
