i heard thru the rumor mill that you guys get paid very generously hourly like around 13 to 14 bucks an hour plus commission. is this true?
what are your quotas and do you get paid commission even if you dont hit quota?

Increase Sales In Malls?
I have been working at a Sprint Kiosk for about 3 months and have been successful; however, our kiosk is going through a slow time right now. For those shop talk people out there working in sales what are some of the ways you get customers to come up to your kiosk? How can we get mall walkers interested in our products more effectively and how can we attract them to our kiosk? Any tips to increase sales?

" why are there things on the counter?"

"they cant be sitting , put the stools around the other side of the counter!"

i don't agree with making your employees stand for 8 to 10 hours a day!
first of all you make us wear dress shoes, so our feet will hurt, not to mention those of us who have bad posture which will cause our backs to hurt,
i get tired and very grumpy if i have to stand all day, I'm not productive.

Now, I have no problem with them getting out of thier home and even walking through the mall. BUT, shouldn't they be supervised? I mean shouldn't someone be watching them, making sure they don't wander off or worse?

1) Guy calls up mad because we shut off his service for nonpayment according to him. Says he mailed the check so turn on his phone... I bring up his account and it has been closed for two years although he does owe us some money... I tell him that and he says impossible, it has worked for two years. I look up his number and he has Verizon! He thought that since he owed us money we called Verizon...... I explain, and he wants us to send the money he sent us to Verizon.......
2) Sweet older lady INSISTS that when she uses her landline her cell phone gets charged minutes. I explain that it could only happen if she was calling her cell from the landl...

Grr.
Wal-Mart!!!
They sell cellular service with absolutely NO accountability. They misinform their customers out of ignorance and then have them come to retail stores with their complaints when their lies come out. We correct the misinformation given by wal-mart, and the customers get mad at us. We didn't lie to you in the first place! You should get mad at the people who sold you service, not the ones who are actually trained to provide you with the service you obviously needed before ever making the decision to buy a cell phone.

Cust: no, my parents gave it to me
How do people expect you to help them if they cant even provide basic information.
Our own experiences as customers...
for example I have always received excellent CC from my bank (bank of america), and lousy CC from my cell phone company (the equivalent to Cingular in Argentina)... the difference was that very clearly the bank people are well trained and have always known how to help me, and the cell phone people had no clue about what they were doing and needed to place me on hold forever for each question I asked... another difference was the attitude, one helpfull the other anoyed by my call...
They stole my phone and brainwashed my husband!!!
