Do you have any lighter pink RAZRs?

Some stupid lady was just here talking to my coworker about setting up a line and insisted (against his advice, I'm sure) on getting a RAZR. He showed her the pink one, at which point she started giving him sh*t about the shade of pink that we have. She started complaining and saying that other stores had a lighter shade of pink. People are idiots.

So I just had a kid and his mom come up saying his prepaid phone was having problems. They bought it at the corporate store across town, but I still did what I could to help them. I looked up their account and let them know their phone should still be under warranty and instructed them to call Nokia for a replacement. I also explained our prepaid Pick Your Plan options that would get them more minutes for the money you're spending.

I spent upwards of 20 minutes with these people on something that I made no money on from the initial sale and I knew I wouldn't be making any money on it today. I was perfectly nice to them and as helpful as possible on a busy day when I could be concentrating on making more money.

Like 30 minutes after...

Got a customer that wants the Monday Night football theme as a ringtone. Does anyone know which Ringtone shop we can find that in? I can't find it in Ringtone Jukebox or Sony Music.

PRORATES

why the computer doesn't automatically show prorates beats the sh*t out of me. I feel for the customers who make changes and do not get disclosed the proration. Seems like the prob can be avoided with a simple txt msg to the phone disclosiing the exact amount of min for use

This idiot at work just took two activations from me. I'm putting in my notice tomorrow. In a day when we got 19 activations...I got one. I'm done working in sales.
It seems like all day I got stuck with phone problems or people who didn't want to decide anything today. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGHHHHHH!

Nuclear Batteries?

So when you purchase a portable device like a walkman cd player or an mp3 player do you take it back and ask for a new one every time your battery dies? Whats with cell phone customers assuming their batteries are made to last as long as their phone. Even car batteries aren't everlasting. Further more when is the last time customers have ever purchased batteries. A pack of AAs is like $9 at the store.

Why is it unheard of and rediculous that a rechargable L-Ion cell phone battery would cost $50? I swear people are just retarded about cell phones. Becuase there is a convienent person behing the counter to yell at they assume every thing should work for ever and if it doesn't it should be free.

expired accounts

I'm not going to sit here and argue with someone over an expired account.

cust wants to know why we assured him he would not be charged anything on his final bill. He kept talking over me as I was explaining it was a system error and I would take care of it. But instead of being grateful he wants to tell me how badly we suck for not monitoring our systems.

sent him to collections so they can just try to collect the balance any dang way!!!!!!!!!!

why argue with me on an expired account about money you'll never pay anyway?

Wanna argue with me, at least have an active account where it matters.

talk about a good day....

I just spent almost an hour sitting here in the dark!! the power went out in our whole shopping center, so I locked the door and just sat there and waited....and all the creepy visitants were outside staring in at me 😳 ....it was weird! i told them the power was out, they would have to come back later, but they just gave me that dumb look, like i should be able to magic everything back on so they could come in and yell at me

I love this forum

I've been on phonescoop for quite sometime and have never discovered this forum until I started working in the wireless industry. I bet most of us could do a half hour comedy show talking about customers.

Samsung Blackjack

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a Samsung Blackjack with Cingular when it comes out. I notice it's listed as a "smartphone" instead of a PDA.

Does that mean it'll use Cingular's $19.99 internet package instead of the $39.99 PDA package?

Everyone is flipping out.

Well our comission just got cut again. People are flipping out. Our job is frustrating, but the pay was good. So it was easy to deal with it. Now our pay keeps getting cut and the frustration level is staying the same. People i never thought could be negative are saying crazy stuff. Even the older reps. This place is a downward spiral right now.
