Best question ever!

And by best, I mean people need to be hit. Hard. With bats.

Has anybody had little kids walk up with "do you have a phone you can give me?", and then when you tell them no, they walk back to their parents, who come back to ask you if you've got a phone you can just give the kid as a "present"? WTF are you teaching your kid, that it's ok to expect things from random strangers, so that when some guy tells him there's a puppy & action figures in the back of an unmarked van he'll hop right in?

Where does this sense of entitlement come from? These people don't walk into Brookstone or Franklin Covey and try to get people to give their kids stuff for free. And they try the cop-out of "oh it's just a display model" well guess what THEY ST...

You...are...stupid

Why is it so hard to register your account online. I hate when a customer is so dumb/scared to try doing something by themselves and they make me stay on the line with them for 30 minutes, even after I go through the close attempt like 3 times making it completely obvious that I have other calls to take and other things to do. Staying on the line with them defeats the whole f***** purpose of "self-serve." I wish they would just let us manually register the slow/dumb ones. This lady is killing my AHT!....Still on the call...patience running low. "Should I press OK?" "Should I press Update?" "Should I click on add new card?" Well....duh. This lady is asking where to click, this is so hard, waaa waaa waaa, whining to hell. How hard is it to s...

dumb b*tch!!!

I hate people like this.
m=me, c=customer

c- My son got his phone stolen and I need to get him a new phone.

m- no problem, let me take a look at your account.

I looked at all the numbers on the account and it and unfortunately no numbers are eligible for an upgrade. Your only option at this time since you don't have insurance is to purchase a phone outright.

c-can I do that here?

m- no ma'am, my company does not allow me to sell phones without signing a contract.

c-Here's an idea for you, next time someone asks if they can just buy a phone, just say no. You'll get more referrals that way.

m- I'm sorry that I was trying to save you $200+ on a new phone, but I guess your so rich saving money isn't worth your time.

I ...

ESRP=Free 8300?!?!

WHY WHY WHY is the BRAND NEW 8300 the ONLY thing on the farking WEL list!?

Note to any customers: If you have ESRP, and an old samsung A660, break it, get it replaced under ESRP and youll get a brand new 8300!!

Such garbage, I hate hate hate it. And then they complain about cost of aquisition and the cost of ordering replacment phones instead of doing repairs!!.. Heres a tip, quit giving away 8300s to every customer that comes in!

That'll take hours (aka: I hate my job!)

So this stupid cow comes in with a phone she upgraded through customer care. I did an ESN swap rather than put her on the phone with customer care which I regret now because she will probably get a CSAT call and give me a 0 for that.

She got some Nokia we never even sold in our market and when I told her that we didn't have the software for her phone she started up with well I didn't even want that phone, customer care gave it to me for free for renewing my contract. ... (like I care) so I printed it out for her free of charge even though it should've been $15 and when I came back out she said 'THAT'LL TAKE HOURS!' which is just stupid. She had about 50 numbers.
I finally just said 'There's nothing else I can do and excused myself.'

I hate hearing

"I'm a long time member of BigPink."

or

"I've been with BigPink for 80 years."

or

"I've had your service forever."

Anything like that and you know it's going to follow with "so what will you do to make me happy because I'm fawking special and $41t solid gold."

Lurkers...

I have tons of people who pull up in front of my store and sit in their cars for a long time before ever coming in. They are usually on the phone. I take that to mean they're yelling at customer service and if they don't get their way, they come in and yell at me. Sometimes, they park for 20 minutes then leave without ever getting out of their car. We're not in a plaza, so there aren't any other stores they could consider going into. What are they doing??? Planning their attack?

Does anyone else have this same type of issue where weird people just sit in their car in front of your store for long periods of time?

My phone don't work no more.

I die a little bit every time someone says that to me. I just can't stand grammar that is THAT atrocious!

Anyway this guy's phone wouldn't work and he couldn't figure out why. I ask him if I can see the phone, and he has his kid, who's been licking it (yes, with its tongue!) for about 10 minutes. I said 'I'm going to guess right now that it's liquid damage.' And I gave the guy a Clorox wipe and asked him to clean the phone off. He didn't even bat an eyelid, like it was totally normal that children lick phones. ****ing knob.

High txt message bill

I had a customer who had a $400 overage bill because she gave her phone to her daughter and she began using text messaging. "I'm not mad at my daughter, but I want credit for this" You WILL be mad at your daughter when you don't get any credit for these charges!

walmart is the anti-christ

and the end draweth nigh. you all realize that they will drive their suppliers into the ground soon, which will cause a rise in inflation and unemployment, which will then cause a void in the supply chain, which will cause the american economy to sink in upon itself, which will leave all the brain-dead non-people out on their own without an economy or electricity and running water. yeah...sorry, it came to me in a dream.

and this is shoptalk material cause i am going to say "cell phone"...there.

and the end will be signaled by very poor reception.

Suggestion for phone designers: Hangup-button lighting

One thing that would be nice to have on mobile phones is to have the hangup button always lit during a call, so even in a dark vehicle the user can easily find the hangup button to end a call. I understand the need to conserve battery by dimming or turning off the keypad after a few seconds; that makes perfect sense. But if just the hangup button alone could reamin lit during a call, it would use so little battery no one would notice the loss, and it would make it much easier to end a call when driving after dark. Just a thought for you forward-thinking phone designers & developers. 🙂

if there was one phone...

...that would be saving my sales month, it would be the lg cu500. since the custy HAS to get the unlimited medianet package because of the broudband video, they get me at least $20 on that, plus insurance, and other options. now we just have to keep those in stock until black friday.

Bastard

This guy comes in here and tells me that Best Buy has better prices on their phones than we do and yet he expects me to help him. I know he's just going to go buy the phone there. I was just speaking in monotone to try to show my displeasure with him. I think he got the hint and left.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR...long

I can't begin to describe how pissed I am at the month of November. The last week had better pick up or I'm likely to break something.

Everyone wants everthing for free. It doesn't matter if it's the KRZR or the Chocolate or the Samsung A990. THEY THINK IT SHOULD BE FREE. Well guess the F**k what????? IT'S NOT GONNA BE FREE! If they make it cheap enough to give it to your broke ass for free, you'll just bitch when it quits working after a month or after the first time you drop it.

I've had 3 people come in today and yell at me about the phones not holding up the way they used to. Guess what else? The industry has determined that they have to make the phones cheaper in order to entice customers to sign up. Walmart is respons...

Dogs/Aftershave/Bad Breath

We have a customer who always brings her dogs in here. Gross.

Also, this dude standing in front of me has the strongest, most disgusting aftershave and it's giving me a headache. I hate customers.

please someone make it stop

my mall is having its holiday season kick off... which means that there are about a million people here and we're open 5 hours later than normal... no one is buying any cell phones but they all want to see the one they ordered online yesterday... also there is really loud bagpipe music coming from one direction and children singing (badly) Christmas carols from the other... basically it's prepping the mall employees for the endless misery that is the holiday shopping season. (by endless i mean ends in January, actually...)

I'm not even Christian so I don't even get presents!! boo!!
