when people buy off the internet and want you to pretty much waste your time and hook up there phones they they could have bought off you and had it all done in one time

Duplicate Applications

I love running someone's credit and having the results come back as "$500 (or $750) deposit - Duplicate Application". That means that within the past 30 days they ran their credit at another Cingular location and got the same results. The funny thing is it still goes to the credit bureau so they are still lowering their credit score little by little. The best thing is how they always act like it's somehow not embarrassing or stupid when I tell them that they got a high deposit and should've already known about it because of the fact that they ran their credit within the past 30 days.

Stupid mall customers

I love how these people walk up and look completely disgusted and upset that one of us is reading a book or playing a DS, and when we ask if we can help them with anything they have an attitude and end up just wanting to know where the bathroom is, where the Sprint store is (because it used to be near us but they moved out of the mall like 8 months ago), or where some other random store in the mall is. Meanwhile, there's a directory like 20 feet away from our kiosk. Stupid lazy bastards.

Why are we open so late?

I don't understand why our store is open until 9:00 every night (6 on Sundays actually). We don't get any customers after like 7 o'clock. Very annoying.

the custy i look forward to seeing.

this one guy came in with his wife and newborn child when i just started working in this store, i signed them both up for service with a great plan with all the trimmings. every month the guy comes in to pay his bill. $150 on the corporate card and $25 on the personal card. he always asks about my wife and son, and i do likewise, he always has a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and interesting things to talk about. i dunno...it's just so nice sometimes to get a genuine nice person instead of the usual rabble.

2 year Return Policy...RIGHT!

Had a lady come into my store wanting to return a car charger that she never used. She pulls it out of her purse, packaging, receipt and all! One problem, we haven't used that packaging in two years. So we take a look at her receipt...sure enough she bought over 2 years ago! 😳

I commended her for keeping her receipt but also pointed out that it was purchaed more than 2 years ago and that our return policy is 30 days. She became irate stating that was what the other store told her, that this one doesn't fit her new phone and figured that since we were the corporate office we would do it for her. We asked her what kind of phone she has now and we would give her 50% off a new car charger. She ported to another carrier! I am sorry I d...

Best bullcrap story evah!

So, this woman comes up, saying that she wants a refund on her car charger that she says she bought a few days ago from my kiosk. No receipt, no packaging, no way to know if she bought it from us or not other than her word, so I have to tell her that I need a receipt but after I get it, I'll be happy to do the exchange. She goes off on a tear, talking about how we cheated her and this car charger took power away from her phone.

I don't know, I'm bored, I thought it was funny that this woman says that our CLA drained her phone rather than recharged it. I've never heard of that ever happening and don't even think it's really possible. Maybe we can sell those for conditioning batteries, though; reverse-chargers! 🙂

Hi-Res Phone Images?

I posted this in the General forum and no one responded.

Hey wireless associates

I run a power point display at my kiosk for advertising specials and such.

I can get hi resolution images of LG phones from ThinkLG.com but I am having a hard time finding images for any other manufacturer.

I need images of US Cellular phone manufacturers, mainly Motorola and Nokia.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

some thing i think we have all wanted to say at some point.

today I had a guy come in to pick up his phone after it had been serviced. he came in with wha ti am assumeing was his woman. any who he was a complete idiot from the begainning you suck bla bla bla. complaining about how horrible his service was. so i went to go get his phone and i told him what the tech did. by the way his phone looked as iff it doubbled as a hocky puck on the weekends.

he hands the phone to me and says "It won't even turn on"

Ignorance Everywhere

Sorry Sprint employees, please don't take offense.

So this guy comes in looks pretty well to do but immediately starts complaining about phone prices until I educated him on how to read our new price cards. Still he asks questions that the answers are printed right in front of him, but I am polite and courteous as usual. But as he leaves he tells me that he doesn't agree with the upgrade fee because he can change his sim card himself and says that he won't have to worry about that with Sprint. Well Sprint guys if you can wave that fee, cool. But even the Sprint and Alltell guys here at the mall carry cingular phones. But the guy wants to save a small penny to pay a bigger price. authorized agent locations

Has anyone gone from a cingy corporate to an authorized agent location? I'm told they are easier to work for and actually have better equipment pricing and commissions, quotas are more realistic also. Is this true?
