Stupid talkative people...

I hate people like this. I've been watching this stupid hippy lady at the Qwest kiosk since they opened over an hour ago. She's talked absolutely non-stop to the poor guy trying to help her about her school, her job, and her personal life. The guy looks like he'd just as soon be shot in the face several times. Meanwhile, he's watched his coworker help like four or five other people while he's dealing with this dumb bitch who won't shut up. Sucks for him.

White guys who speak Spanish...

For some reason or another, very few salespeople I know have taken any initiative to learn Spanish. And I know some people look at it like, "Well we're in America, so I am going to speak English!", and that's cool, but why not make yourself some extra money.

I took Spanish in high school, and like most people, I spent most of that time hitting on the cute girls in class with me. I didn't learn much Spanish at all.

When I left school, and started in sales, I found that some knowledge of Spanish would help me. And since I'm in the middle of a huge Spanish speaking community, I've been making a stupid amount of money, where some of my co-workers can't. It doesn't matter if they get the customer first, if they can't even speak to the custo...

1. Thou shalt not fart in the kiosk while other employees are present.

2. Thou shalt not stare at the t*ts of the 16-year-old daughter of your customer. (Even though they're really perky and nice.)

3. Thou shalt not ask people to "**** off!", when they ask where other cell-phone retailers are located.

Old people rock!

I just had a custy call me to trouble shoot why his phone wasn't working. I look up his account to make sure that the line is active. Every thing looks good so i continue with other possibilities. After a few questions i ask the customer if they have tried calling any one else on thier phone. Customer responds with "well i'm talking to you on it!" Um sir then its not broke. ๐Ÿ™„

Reasons I pretty much hate Motorola...

I've worked in the wireless industry now for three years, and three different carriers, and I've noticed one basic trend among phones: Motorola phones blow hard.

When I started working for AT&T Wireless in sales with them, I had some prettty basic phones. The Motorola V505 was my first experience in a problematic phone. It was poorly developed. The plastic scratched easily. The buttons left marks on the screen over time. Is it hard to develop a phone that isn't self-mutilating? Even little emo kids don't mutilate themselves this much!

Verizon Rant, sorry

Verizon needs to get their act together. Either decide that you want to have Agent stores or kick us the hell out! I'm tired of getting screwed all the time because Corporate stores CAN do way more crap than Agent stores, do you really want your company competing against itself? What the hell?!? I have no problem in becoming a completely Corporate owned company, but don't feed these customers all these bullsh!t answers about "no they can't do that, even though they have the Verizon logo and everything is Verizon, Verizon, Verizon, they are different. Now that you know that, good luck at finding a store that can help you!"

Just level the playing field or stop pissing all of my customers off, because I wil start telling them to sign up...

I work in a call center..the very, very, late shift and I have been reading your posts and replies for quite some time..I don't think I could do what you do, dealing with customers face to face..Their body language, facial expression, ect...I never wanted to hit one but I can't tell you how many times I'd have to mute and express my opinion ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ‘ฟ Just had to say "KUDOS" to every one of you and to thank you for the humor, and excellent customer stories..You keep me awake ๐Ÿ™‚ I'll be sharing some of my "America's Dumbest Customers" stories with you soon...Time to go home.... Favorite dumb customer story

This guy calls in and immediately starts screaming and yelling. "You sold me a defective phone, it doesn't work, it's a piece of crap..The screen is black and it won't turn on" Blah, Blah, Blah..After about 20 minutes of his ranting..

JADED!!!!

I have worked in the wireless industry for over a year now and nearly this whole time I have read and read and read and read this forum everyday that i am at work. The whole experience in dealing with stupidity day in and day out has spread like a cancer in to nearly every facet of my life whenever I witness stupidity it has to be to a degree of such magnitude that it creates a black hole of all things intelligent. What makes you think you should open your mouth?

I can't stand when I get visitants who try to queer a sale on me. Somebody's buying a case, they have to come up and talk loudly about the case they saw at some store for the same price that was "much nicer", or how you can get a "good car charger" at the flea market for 2 bucks. Seriously, who the hell do these people think they are? I had a girl cost me a phone sale right after I started working here, then turn around and expect me to give her a discount on a phone because she wanted to get it at another store but they were out of the phone she wanted, but we "had to price-match!".

F*&kin visitants.

Slow? It's busy as heck here - dang.

I know everyone has been sounding off about things being slow, but for me, it's been quite the opposite.

I got some upgrades out today, (I'm in sales with a Cingular Agent), along with some accessories.

A really cute hairdresser and her friend came by too, and gave me her number, and invited me to a masquerade party.

It's been a great day in the life of me!


Now I'm watching some little Mexican kids wrestle each other on the mall floor about 20 feet from me. This job is pure entertainment.
