What's the craziest thing to happen in your location?

We had a customer come in for a phone repair while I think, she was trying to learn how to drive a manual transmission car. Needless to say she hit the wrong pedal and came through the front wall/window of the store nearly hitting one of our island displays by the front. Took the insurance company and construction crews nearly a month to get everything fixed. And yet we still had people walk in the front, right next to this car that is sticking out the front side of our building. Not to mention the glass strewn about. I was in the middle of a sale at the time and about jumped a foot and a half. My manager in the back thought the roof had fallen in as we had had some previous water damamge to the roof. Oh what a fun day that was...

I need your name

"Fine, it's Niki."

Biotch... that's all I have to say.

She apparently ordered an accessory but put it in her mother's name. It's against Policy and Illegal (it's considered Fraud) for me to so much as open the order if she wasn't the one to place the order since the orders are linked to accounts and I do not have access to accounts deep enough to see notes on the account... if somebody is added as an authorized user I do not have the ability to see that.

What that means is I WILL GET FIRED... F-I-R-E-D and if I'm lucky they won't press criminal charges! I'm not doing it, I don't give a flying whoopdy-freaking-doo how mad you and yo' mama are about it, you're still not getting access. If you placed the order in your mother's nam...

Der-De-Derrrrr

To start off she interrupts me mid-greeting and starts with, "Yeah, I was told to call 611"....silence (on purpose)... ME: mm-okay...I'll be glad to help, and may I have your name please?" CUST: Yeah, I was just told to call you guys. (so I forget about getting her name for now) ME: OK, So I can assist you I'll need more information. What can I do for you? CUST: Shouldn't you know that, you're all Verizon. (Yeah we've been assimilated by the Borg and we're all connected) ME: Well i'll be glad to pull up the account and check the remarks, may I have the last 4 of social..." CUST enters the last 4 on the phone keypad..."did you get it?" ME: (after smiling and not sure how to respond...and holding back my sarcasm) No I'm sorry, you need to verb...

Apparently I'm Cursed

It seems like this building is a curse for me.

I haven't been sick (not really) at all, not one time, all year... except for the 30th of December. Last year on the 30th I cam to work feeling a little warm, left two hours later with a fever of 103 and ended up in the urgent care unit two days later with Strep and on massive antibiotics.

I spent all last night paying homage to the porcelain gods and I still feel like crap. This had better not mean another trip to Urgent care, I try to avoid medical attention if I can help it.

Otherwise I haven't had more than a little sniffle-cold all year (a small miracle, btw, working in a call center... I get cracks on my hands from washing them so much and I think my custom alone keeps the Purel...

Oh just shut up.

I hate customers... just in general.

I have a guy calling wanting to cancel an order. We can't. Big fact C-A-N-'-T... Like not possible. So what are the options... simple, just return the package, we'll give you a full refund... easy as pie.

Now if you'd just shut up for five seconds I could explain that to you. That's right shut up.

Actually what I said after he interrupted me for the fifth time saying how he was going to refuse the shipment or have UPS hold the package... And I kept trying to tell him that I wasn't the returns department, let me give you that number...

I said "Sir, if you'd let me finish speaking please." "Sir, I need you to let me finish."
"Sir, if you'd let me I'll give you the number to our returns dep...

Well I can get a brand new phone for 49.99

It's so typical and so freaking stupid!

She lost the back cover to her RAZR (which I never understand) and lucky for her the RAZR is the one phone we carry the back cover for... The ONLY phone. They're 24.99 plus 5.99 shipping... Her response "Well I can get a brand new phone for 49.99."

STUPID STUPID STUPID!

We all know that her "New phone" is with a new 2 year contract, a new phone number, and probably a $50 mail in rebate. It's not just no strings attached.

Save me from the dumb.

unreal...

A guy comes in with a page printed off from the internet and wants me to match the deal. The page says right on it "INTERNET ONLY OFFER" so I point that out to him. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't match the deal, and it's on a crappy phone and an even crappier headset.

On top of the internet only deal he has a flyer from another agent store and their special deal.

He then pulls out our latest ad with yet ANOTHER deal.

He wants me to combine all of these deals. I tell him I won't do it because special deals can't be combined. I hadn't even looked at his account yet because I just assumed he was going to buy from the internet.

He started getting pissy about not combining offers and I finally decided to look at the acco...

What's the best price for that?

Do people think I'm deliberately quoting them a higher price than the real price? When I say the headset sells for 24.99 what I really mean is the headset sells for 24.99. That's not just the best price, that's the only price... prick. And no, asking if I can send that out for free isn't going to work either... sneaky but no.

Really???

As I sit here and read post about how much customers suck and insurance is a pain in the ass, I also read through a lot of threads in which you sales reps out there are posting crap with customers right in front of you. I understand most of you are asking questions, but for those of you who are sitting here talking **** about stomers as they stand there trying to get your help, I am going to go out on a limb and say you are the jack@ss!!

Do they just make this Sh!t up or what?

Ok i know that customers are probably the worst to deal with but does anyone else ever notice this too that when you have a customer that has a problem and you have to call customer care to get help with it that the customer care reps will make up some of the most random sh!t to put in the notes! I'm working with a customer now and the customer care rep before this great lady I'm talking to now put in the notes that my customer (who btw is married and had a son recently killed) got a phone for her ex boyfriend and that him and her son had been running up the bill! OK that never came out of my mouth or the customers mouth plus the phone was suppose to be disabled but the gentlman who has the phone keeps posing as her husband or her dead son. ...
