CORN CHILDREN

is school out today? what are all these kids doin in my store. Like 15 kids are just chillin in my store asking questions about how much this and that cost. "I have my dads credit card" is what one of them keeps saying....

Damnit! Where are your parents? How did you get here? Why must you keep touchin the glass?
No i cant unblock downloads and text for you, I dont care if you know your dads social to do it. your 13.
no you can not use our store phone.

Whats wrong with their parents.
if these were my kids they would at least have jobs

Unlocked Phones and contracts

Just out of curiousity how many service providers offer no contracts when a consumer enters with their own equipment? I know Ralph has said he will do no contracts with stripped down service. Do any other providers?

Alltel Employes...

I just got hired at an alltel retail store. What kind of benefits do you guys get. Someone mentioned a free plan with alltel and some other stuff. Someone wanna help me out as I can't go in to work till after my background check...probably on friday. Either write back here or pm me...thanks.

Ok, hold on one sec....

When people walk into our store, I always great them with : "Hello, what Can I do for you today?"

Most the time its "I need to pay my bill"

Which I always reply with "Ok, hold on one sec"

Thats when they start spouting their number off at high speed. I've come to the point were I just let them, wait for my system to come up and then ask " Ok whats your number"
If they reply, " I just gave it to you"
I reply "I asked you to wait" LOL

Its a big pet peeve. People dont listen.

good books

i was just wondering what kind of books you all read on sales, management, etc... i'm always on the lookout for more books to read on the subjects. i've just re-read The One Minute Manager, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and The 25 Habits of Highly Successful Salespeople. Another good one i read in school was Built to Last. any other suggestions??

Verizon annual upgrade

Have any indirect agents for Verizon out there been screwed by the new "annual upgrade" process? I work for a premier agent (meaning I can do the NE2 and early upgrade exceptions as well as some other things) but I'm being denied to process these annual upgrades because its a direct channel only thing. I can't get any of these CSR's to approve anything but the annual upgrade and its caused me to lose 4 fat sales in just 3 days!!!! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ ๐Ÿ‘ฟ ๐Ÿ‘ฟ Anyone else gettin screwed by this new crap????

I HATE Motorola and I DEFINITELY hate Razr's, but the data speed on this thing is AMAZING. Definitely noticably faster than the Sync, Blackjack, and CU500... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Price Gouging forget Oil, its the Phones!

So does any one else think its rediculous what cell phone manufacturers are charging for phones? I was thinking about other electronic devices like my nintendo ds ($129.99) which toutes Wifi, multiple screens, a touchscreen, and bluetooth for a fration of the cost of a cell phone. Yet moto can build a phone that just calls for $40. That would make my Ds with phone capabilities $169.99 at manufacturer cost. Instead we see pdas and mp3 players at rediculous costs.

Harassing employees or agents clause in contract?

Hi everyone. With all the talk about whether or not VZW customers will be able to get out of their contract without the ETF over the text message increase, I got to reading the VZW contract. In it, it states:

"We can, without notice, limit, suspend, or end your service or any agreement with you for this or any other good cause, including but not limited to: (c) harassing our employees or agents" ๐Ÿคจ

Now I know that us in the wireless industry take a lot of guff from customers on a day to day basis. Has anyone ever heard of a customer getting their service ended because of the way they treat us employees? If so, what are the grounds for such termination? Verbal abuse? Physical threats? Anyone have any idea? ๐Ÿ˜•

i really really wanna take down the "pay your bill here" sign.......so many people dont get that this does NOT include your utilities or any other carrier than the one we sell. what do they teach these people at school...not logic....or english (sparxxx)

AAAAAARRRG!

It hasn't happened for almost a year! I was so enjoying the respite. (I'll find you a dictionary later)

The DHL delivery gal parks (illegally and probably caused a wreck or something) and dashes into the store to deliver something. I kindly meet her at the door, and sign the little thingy. She then asks (at a cellphone store/RadioShack) "Do you guys have any of those headset, earphone thingys for my phone?" I say yes, because I do have them for just about any kind of phone (besides a blackjack, and I'm okay with that). So I walk her to the vast (23 different kinds) selection that I have. She then says (this is the part that gets me every time!)

"Well, my phone is a US Cingular One phone by All Americanlinked." ๐Ÿ˜ณ I almost kick...

LAZY **CKER!!

There is only going to be two of us today for the whole day.....my lazy ass co worker shows up an hour late, goes straight to the back has a 30 min phone call. comes up front sits in the back of the store and plays boxing/racing games on his phone for the last 3 hours!! While im in front. i have to help everyone. even multiple customers at once while he complains that so and so jus beat him in round 3 of such and such game. i think im jus gonna leave for four hours.....

Okay, I'm bored.

Which means that there aren't many people wanting phones at the moment. To add insult to injury, it seems that many of us have either not been getting enough sales and have been busting our behinds to catch up, or don't have anything productive to say. It's been pretty sad!

So no strange stories about deranged customers or have we used them all up?

I'm so bored.
