Good Call

I hate people who can't let me finish a sentence. It happens a lot, people just seem to think because we are working in a Customer Service job for a company they either have service with or are contemplating having service with, that we're not really people, we're machines here to serve them. It makes me nuts.

If they would SHUT THE HELL UP AND LISTEN we'd get done twice as fast as I was in the middle of explaining what needs to be done, cutting me off to add more details to your problem won't help.

I also love the way they cut me off during my close. I have to say "Thank you for calling T-Mobile, have a nice day." Please be nice enough to let me say it, I'm actually trying to be friendly.

General rant...

I really hate people who come in and act like they know everything, yet, when it boils down to it, they don't know ANYTHING!!!

I had a woman the other day asking questions for almost 45 mins AFTER I already closed the store. She sounded like she read Consumer Reports but didn't actually understand the questions they told her to ask. The worst part was that she came in about 45 minutes BEFORE I closed. I still had 3 other customers waiting. I tried to get some through while she asked away, but most folks had issues that required my full attention. It turned into about 2 hours of overtime that I won't actually get paid for because I'm not authorized to work overtime.

I just had another guy tell me I had to early upgrade his seco...

Looking for developers for a short term project... AT$QCDMG

Hi,

I'm looking for developers that have experience with the CDMA platform and its EFS.

I'm not a head hunter, I work for a research and development company and I'm looking for consultants on a current project. The ability to relocate for 1-3 months would be ideal. For the right candidate, a permanent position might be available. For consideration in the review process, please e-mail a document outlining your experiences and qualifications with embedded systems in and out of the wireless industry.

I am always looking for more talented and educated individuals of great character. With the way the industry changes and as our focus changes, we're always in search of new information. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank y...

so annoying!

i hate when there are customers that stand in front of your desk and talk on the phone. And jsut continue with your conversation as if the whole world revolves around them. And when they're talking to you about things and they jsut pick up their phone when it rings and have lengthy conversations. Some people are so rude.

My FAVORITE line...

I absolutely love it when customers walk in and the first thing they say is:

"This phone is a piece of crap! It hasn't worked since day one!"

๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ You've gotta be kidding me. You've had this phone for well over a year, and it hasn't worked since day one? Don't you think that if that was the case, you'd be back in the store on DAY TWO?!

Do people honestly expect us to take them seriously when they start their complaining like this? I'm pretty sure that if I bought a product and it didn't work, I'd RETURN IT. But you know, maybe that's just me, and I'm the crazy one. Maybe the RIGHT thing to do is keep it for a year, and THEN come in and b*tch about it. Maybe then the rep will feel bad for you and give you a shiny new feature...

Curious about Commision Payouts

hey i was wandering how much commision yall make from your different companies such as new activations, upgrades, migrations, accessories, and vertical services. You do not have to list the company that you work for but if you want you can. I thought this would be fun to see how all the companies compare in this aspect.

Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜

how 'bout this (rant)

a doctor walks up with questions about international roaming(VZ). I attempt to get into his account, only to find that he DOESN'T KNOW HIS OWN PASSWORD HE PUT ON THERE HIMSELF. Call in to get that changed, it's changed, and he asks how much it'll be to call from China back to the US. I quote him the price, and he is bewildered.

The ENTIRE conversation with this guy, I'm wondering how a man that saves lives daily can be so blatantly ignorant.

he then informs me that "when I was over there, it seemed like they had their call rates in order much more than they do here; They seem to be ahead of us in that." ๐Ÿ˜ณ

All I could do was stare back at him.

Sometimes I wish I had a technology-IQ screener, so that at least I KNEW whe...

Just Once

Just One Time I would like things to actually work out in this godforsaken rat-trap I call my job... but that doesn't seem to be a possibility.

I put in to have Sunday off TWO MONTHS ago... because it's the first Event (I participate in Ren Faires) of the season and I am going to be leaving Friday for some desperately needed time away. At the time I only had 4 hours of Paid Time off saved up since at the start of the year I had Pneumonia (you god d@3n dill-holes, I was almost hospitalized for it.) and had to miss a few days because I wasn't allowed out of my house (actually bed, I was bedridden for almost a week.)

About two weeks after I made the request I had the PTO saved up but they refused to look at my request until TODAY... for ...

Correlation

So we like to use cars as a comparison for phones and I have one...

This woman lost the back to her Sidekick 3... which she says she's only had for a week. She has insurance on her phone and I haven't the faintest idea what that covers... the insurance is through Asurion... me, frankly I don't give a crap, insurance claims go through the INSURANCE COMPANY... not the service provider...

But she wanted to replace the back via the insurance and when I said that to make a claim on her insurance policy she needs to speak with the insurance company she lots her mind... "This is Bull$417! and screaming at me like it's going to make any difference. I asked her to please not swear and warned her that if she swore I would have to disconnect th...
