Curious about Commision Payouts

hey i was wandering how much commision yall make from your different companies such as new activations, upgrades, migrations, accessories, and vertical services. You do not have to list the company that you work for but if you want you can. I thought this would be fun to see how all the companies compare in this aspect.

If I sell a phone I make usually around 60% profit and ....... 😕 no...... 🤭 wait....... đŸ˜ŗ that's drugs......I don't sell phones.......I do insurance.......sorry I couldn't help 😉

Per month:
I get $19 per activation.
$10 per Upgrade.
$5 for Text and or Voice Mail sold (each).
10% of accessories price with a $13.00 or more gross margin.
Customers must stay on service for 290 days (10 months) or they take back that commission, but not the bonuses.
At 25 activations and $1200 in accessories sold I get a bonus of $150. If I sell 40 activations and $2500 in Accessories I get a bonus of $250.

I get $12 for Nextel/Sprint activations
I get $18 for T-mobile activations
I get $3 for any upgrades, T-Mobile prepaid or Boost
I also get $3 for any data package I can sell
In a month, if I can sell 35-44 - $90.00 bonus, 45-65 $120.00, 66-80 $165.00, 81-95 $225.00, 96-110 $270 or 111-125 $315.
The point of the bonus is to have our location sell as many units as possible.

We get 10% of the profit from everything we sell to start, with tiered raises of 15% and 20% depending on the amount of money you bring in.

So, activations make us between $2 and $40, upgrades between $1.50 and $20 if you're at 10%, and twice that if you're at 20%.

For every vert we sell, the store makes three times that value after the vesting period, and we get our percentage off that. We get our percentage off accessory profit too.

Here @ our store whcich sells Cingular only we make:
Activations: $5-$30 on a 2 year contract
$2-$10 on a 1 year contract
$1 for no contract
Upgrades: $10 on a 2 year contract
$5 on a 1 year contract
Prepaid: $5 for Pay as you Go
$10 for Pick your plan
Vertical Services: 1X the monthly charge
ex. Text for $9.99, i make $9.99
Accessory Sales: 10% of all accessories sold in that month.

If there are any Corp. Cingular people reading this let me know if your commission is as good as this because i would bet NOT!

well as corp employee...we get a base usually 9 to 14 bucks and hour based on how long you been here experience etc......8 for all migrations (att to cing) or upgrade we get paid different on all adds depending on revenue and we also get higher pay based on tiers top tier is 56 new phones and 4 percent on acess and 75 percent on features you can make 50k or so as a top rep now.....more in higher volume stores naturally

Our sales rep average 30k a year, but I know one prick making 90k. We're an agent too.

Base pay of $7.20

For T5 acts i get $50
T4 acts $40
T3 acts $30
T2 acts $10
T1 acts $10

For T5 Upgrades I get 20
T4 up $15
T3 up $10
T2 up $5
T1 up $5

I get paid the going rate for features (i.e. Unl txt for $19.99 so I get paid $19.99)

We get 10% of all accessories sales and 10% of phones sold at retail price.

We have commission bonuses that are based on the hours i work, so depending on my hours and performance, I can get anywhere from $100 to $350 bonus per check.

We also have store bonuses that are based on our numbers. so if the store meets the bonus we can get bonuses ranging from $50 to $300 depending on how well we did. And those are once per month.

I work about 30 hours per week and i bring home around $...

$5 for every phone.
Rate plans are on a three tier basis:
$1-$79.98/month=>$5
$79.99-$119.98=>$10
$119.99+=>$15

I get 10% of the profit on any acc.

Add ons:

$0.01-$9.99/month=>$1
$10+/month=>$3

If I get 140% my handset and acc. quota in a month, my commission check multiplies by 1.2. (Now if they only made a realistic quota, cheap bastards... đŸ‘ŋ )

So do yall have to meet your quota inorder to get a commission check. Here, if we don't get our quota we only get our hourly wages.

We have to make a quota, which is not really all that high. But even if we don't make quota, we still get other incentives and commission from accessory sales. Sorta in-between for us.

we have to meet quota...which is high...to get full commission...if we dont, we still get percentages but not near as much..

$15 PER UPGRADE $39.99+ $5 for any under $39.98
new acts
$20 per add on
$30 for $39.99 to $50
$40 for any $59.99 and higher

$ 5 per accessory

nothing yet on bolt ons (text/data...ect)
but they saying they are going to soon
starting sal $16,000 all said i did $51,000 last year in a busy store

wow.

i complain a lot but i guess i get paid pretty well huh?

i have to hit a number every month, if i hit that number i get 100% of whatever plan that person chose plus features.

ie:
40 phones @ $40 a month plus $8 in feats estimates)

about $1880 plus hourly. ($10 hour)

pretty easy to make my number, but if you don't you get 25% of your total.

10% on accessories if you hit your #

not really any other bonuses as of yet. word is their changing this all up pretty soon ☚ī¸

I pay my employees:

$6 an hour plus:

$5 for each 2yr. Migration or Upgrade.
$10 for each 2yr. FT line.
$5 for each 1yr. FT line.
$15 for each 39.99-49.98 line.
$25 for each 49.99-79.98 line.
$30 for each 79.99+ line.
1X the face value of features.
10% of gross acessory sales.
$5 for Pre-paid or Go Phone.
$5 for each phone sold at full retail price.

I get 16 per sale
Nothing for migrations or upgrades
I get 10% of acc sales
25% of feature sales
And I can get numerous other bonuses for hitting certain numbers up to 1000 in total, I made 4 grand in January.

My structure is complicated...I get paid on everything the store does since I do purchasing/stocking/pricing/advertising/labor control/etc.

Labor control is easy because it is me, the owner, and one other part timer. But I have to make sure the store is covered the hours that is posted that we are open. If no one can make it...I have to. I work anywhere from at minimum 50 hours but up to 60.

But all in all, I make around 50k.

i work for simply wireless indirect for tmobile sprint & nextel we get paid 8 hourly we get paid on the rate plan 29.99 and add a line is $7 39.99 is $15 49.99 is $20 59.99 is &25 dollars data is &10 additional smart access is five dollars and upgrades are five dollars tmobile boltons are $3 for 4.99 to 9.98 and $6 for 9.99 and up sprint nextel boltons are 3 each acc are $ 4 each

Man, I get paid $9 hourly and no commission for online sales. The closest thing to a bonus I get is $10.13 for working Saturdays and Sundays.

Frack this. I'm finding a new job.

Not going to post hourly as some of my reps read this and they don't need to know my hourly. But the sales rep commission structure is as follows:

$5 per Upgrade
$5 - $25 per New Activation (Depends on if it's a 1yr/2yr/rate of price plan, etc...)
$5 for standard data (Txt, Pix, Flix...)
$10 for high end data (Aircard, PDA...)
$3 for Ringback Tones
I can't remember what they make on Accessories, it's either 5 or 10%...

Sales Reps recieve 10-18% off of their GP. There are no flat rates paid except for on features in which they will make the amount of the feature. For example if they sell a $9.99 feature they will make a flat $10
