Someone ask me

when we will get some assories for the v60 in. And I had to informed her that we won't and offer her an upgrade. She felt that was a outrage and will be call customer service about this. One more note for me. I think I should just get my own customer service rep.

I'm gonna start my own business...

How about this.

Start my own business called Wireless Consulting Advice, and advertise that "We resolve any disputes between you and your Wireless carrier!"

Then I would sit back and let all the morons who are gonna "sue" their carriers flock to me. All I would have to do is keep a copy of each carriers T&C's on hand, and then charge $500 for Consultations, and just show them were they are wrong based on the T&C's (basically pointing out where it basically says on all Carriers contracts that you actually can't sue them, and you agree to pay whatever your bill is, and any charges on it even if there's a dispute, etc, etc.)

Then I would sit back and watch the money roll right on in. Anyone else want in?

identity theft imbeciles

not wanting to laugh at those that have a legitimate issue with their identity being stolen, but what strange/funny/sad/deranged excuses/reasons/tirades are out there?

I've got two that have happened recently.

guy comes in, two ports, we talk EVERYTHING through, including accessories, then I get to the credit check, and ask for his SSN. he says I don't need it, that all his info is on his DL. I say I do, it' the predominant way that ANYONE in ANY industry has to validate their identity. An "exchange" ensues....

ending with him taking my business card, saying that the wireless industry is the LAST industry to force people into giving out their SSN, and that he'll call the "federal gov't" and be back.

I smile and tell him to h...

Absolutely Disgusting!

Ok, so we've long ago established that the mental defectives that run this hell-hole are self absorbed obnoxious, inconsiderate pricks but THIS is new for me.

They named one of their number "Employee of the Month" this month. I can not believe for a MOMENT that ANYBODY on the call floor voted for this person.

Morale around here is already at a serious low, this is only making it worse.

I'm so disgusted.

Job Offer

So I got a job offer today...I was a little bit excited but I'm also slightly concerned. The job would be doing auto-design for GM. I personally dont care for many GM vehicles (aside from Cadillac) but I know i could bring something good to the company so I decided to check it out. After they tell me all the details they tell me they cannot guarentee me a permanent position because of all the cuts they have been making lately and the only position they have available would be with Hummer or Pontiac, most likely Hummer...I dont really mind Pontiac but Hummer I hate. I love auto-design, I love the pay I would be making but I dont like that in a few months I could be jobless. So I'm not sure if I want to leave my current position (i make d...

Every dealer should know that...

The customer is always right. We all know the rules that we are suppose to follow:
-We only charge for text messaging when the customer want to be because the customer is always right
-The bill should never be more than what we told them even if they make extra charges
-Canada is apart of the US
-If their phone advertise the feature it should be free
-The deserve a free phone because they had service with us
-They should be able to get the free phone whenever they want
-They shouldn't have to pay for insurance
-Warranty should cover water and physical damage
-They deserve free accessories if they get a new phone
-And we shouldn't turn off their phone if they call and tell us they can't pay their bill.

Also don't forget to shoo...

Weird/Sad/Funny Story

I had a call from a customer who stated that in September of 2006,she went to anauthorized dealer kiosk in the mall to get new postpaid service. She paid a $150 deposit and then decided to get prepaid instead. For some reason, she did not ask for or get her deposit back from the kiosk at that time. She called me trying to figure out what to do.

First, she wanted the number for the kiosk. She told me from the beginning that she did not have the receipt for the deposit anymore and she wanted to contact the company in charge of the kiosk. It was a company called MS Wireless. She did have the address, so I looked it up with the store locator. It did not come up and ever since we stopped asking agents for their codes when they call in, we los...

Suggestions

So in my center they have a suggestion box...They have slips you fill out and drop in. You have the option to be anonymous but I, being the fearless leader that I am, opted to put my name on it, as do most other people. I didnt know these were read by management on a weekly basis and was just coached on something I submitted.

I may have mentioned that one of the supervisors (and some other employees) should consider a pedicure before wearing open-toed shoes to work. Apparently this was inappropriate though I feel it was completely warranted...their feet were disgusting...Any ideas on a better way to approach this situation?

Word of the Day!

Adminisphere: The rarefied organizational layers beginning just above the rank and file. Decisions that fall from the Adminisphere are often profoundly inappropriate or irrelevant to the problems they were designed to solve.

My company is circling the drain! (or Secret Shoppers Stink)

What is wrong with this place! I work for a small regional carrier in the Carolinas (won't take you long to figure out) and I just got a 'we need to talk' call from my boss' boss about a mystery shop score, which was a three-fourths of perfect. 😉 It is complete bullshiat, and I have a form that says otherwise... which doesn't amount to a crap in this industry, in here it's guilty until proven innocent.

Anyway, the reason I say they are circling the drain like a nutty turd, is because you would have swore this call to me was to tell me a relative died! IT'S A #@$$@$#! MYSTERY SHOP PEOPLE! 👿

It's a person who can't find a real job and wants to have power over someone else's job! And our company is ghey for it, they hois...

Foreigners

I know its cultural and all, but why is that most middle eastern people and asian people expect every phone in the store for free. Has anyone had any experience or technique to get as much money as possible out of them?

Who here thinks....

This guy/gal suffered a lapse in sanity by posting his/her Nextel wireless # here at PS. You would think you'd PM someone with that sort of thing. I smell a SMS bomb brewing. 🤣

Amp'd Mobile, how I loathe thee

So apparently the influx of absolutely retarded callers yesterday that resulted in me spending the day further down the circle that usual (that is to say in Telesales) was actually (according to somebody around here) because of Amp'd Mobile shutting down.

I guess that makes sense, all those croutons trying to find a new carrier that won't ask a $600 deposit (sorry, not today darlin) and 99% of them hung up the second I mentioned needing a Credit/Debit card.
