no...sorry...too bad...no...no...no... long...the same as my day

I'm not sure what's up with people today, but someone is about to get beat down.

A lady calls me complaining because her husband abuses his phone and we won't give him a new one. She just got an early upgrade (because she abuses her phone too) but her husband can't because he got his last phone 3 months ago. They always decline insurance. The phone she got was BOGO, but of course, the part she didn't understand, BOTH HAVE TO BE ACTIVATED ON NEW OR UPGRADE 2-YEAR AGREEMENTS, neither of which he can do with his existing phone number. It took me almost 15 minutes to get it through her head.

A old guy came in complaining that he's spending too much on his cell phone. He's on a very old local-only prepay plan that allows him to spend o...

I had a customer

who was really nice to me. I explain everything, and they accept it. They ask me questions, and understood. They understood why they couldn't have the blackjack for free. They understood about the rebate. They listen to everything I said. They were the best customers ever.

I miss them. ๐Ÿ˜ข

8 Hours To Go

Until my vacation. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜

First form I opened up today says:

Customer had both international dialing and international roaming on their account and was still charged for international calling. Please credit $276.55

I swear, my call center has no standards to the people that it hires. ๐Ÿ™„

Protests and Police takedown, what a day........

I got transfered to a downtown store to cover somebodies vacation. Its a nice quite small store or at least i thought so. Yesterday we had a huge "free Tibet china is bad" protest in front of our store and we had to lock the store. They blocked the whole intersection and pizzed off all the traffic. Then just after closing while i was cashing out there was a stabbing and the police standoff and take-down of the guy right in front of our store. (you can see my coworker looking through the window on the live news report LOL)

That was just day one.I miss my old store................

Are all downtown locations this insane?????

Well if that's what you want to do...

Just got off the phone with a guy who spent the bulk of the call referring to himself in the third person.

A question for at&t CC/Port admin workers

So this customer comes in and wants his cell number from another carrier and a new number on a family talk. A month later he decided he wants to replace the new number with his home number. What ends up happening is his original cell number is replaced with his home number. I call port admin immediately to fix this and they say they can't fix it for 24 hours. I call back the next day and they say they can't do it and have to submit something to the tech team and it can take up to 9 days. On top of all that their phone number that was ported in doesn't work. Does anyone know a faster way to get this done?

No more phonescoop.

So, my project in this center is going away and I am being moved to AT&T residential. I'm probably not going to be able to read phonescoop all day anymore, and that sucks. I don't know what I'll do to pass my time now, it's usually this or worldatlas.com, and I doubt I'll have that either.

Only positive thing is 5-6 weeks of training, I get a break!

Funniest of Ever

So... in my apartment complex there is JUST enough parking for everyone that has a parking pass to be able to park... when i got home yesterday there was a vehicle i did not recognize parked across two spaces (right down the center im guessing so no one could park next to him and hit his door with theirs PS i f***ing hate when people do that)

so this morning when i was leaving for work that car was parked down across the median, sidewalk, and part of the street and had his front end dented and scratched to hell... the esclade that belongs to the dude across the hall from me was parked in one of the spots the guy was taking up... and didnt have a scratch on it...

the best part was the puzzled tow truck driver looking at the vehicle tryi...

Okay, have just found the dumbest question ever. (LONG)

Okay, I have to write this out so everyone can enjoy the stupidity of this customer...

C: My phone won't work. Everytime I try to call my son, it won't work.

Me:Well, show me how you do it.

Customer doesn't put in area code.

Me:Well, the problem is that you are not dialing the area code.

C: Oh, he lives here too.

Me:I understand that but we made it so that you have to do 10-digit dialing.

C: What is 10-digit dialing?

Me๐Ÿ˜ialing the area code with the phone number.

C: There is 11 digits.
She then gives me a look like I am stupid.

Me: Actually there is only 10. You don't have to dial the one.

C: **scoff** whatever. When did they change this.

Me: Last November.

C: Well no one told me.

Me: Well here is...

Awesome vacation.

So, this lady is going on a Caribbean cruise, and when she found out that her phone would work on the ship for $2.49/min, she was exctatic. She said, "wow, now my vacation is going to be awesome cause I can talk on the phone!"

Seriously? What's wrong with people.

This ain't India...(kinda long)

Swear to God, I'm not making this convo up...

M = Me
C = Indian custy (with really horrible English)

C - What free phones do you have?

M - Well our Samsung U340 is free upfront. The rest of the ones in this display are free after rebate with a two-year contract.

C - I don't want to sign a two-year contract.

M - Well then you won't get any for free. They're only free with a contract.

C - What about this one? *points to LG VX5300*

M - That'll be free after rebate. So $50 up front, $50 MIR.

C - I want it for free.

M - I'm sorry, we don't offer it for free.

C - And this one is free? *points back to U340*

M - Yes, with a contract.

C - I don't want contract. I just want the phone for free.

M - Well the pho...

What can brown do for you!?!?!?!?!?!

Apparently they can destroy your boxes. We got a box of accessories in today and nearly all of the packages were damaged beyond fixing. The worst part is that they were iPhone accessories that we have been waiting for forever now. 2 of my roommates work for UPS and they are gonna get so much $hit from me for that. I already called one and he just laughed. Anyone else get mangled boxes from those jokers over at UPS?

Spell that please.

So I ask people for their name... I ask in a very specific manner...

"Can I get the spelling of your first name please?"

They respond with.

"tyequaysamsonsmith."

And I say.

"Can you spell you first name please?"

"T-y-e-q-u-a-y-s-a-m-u-a-l-j-o-h-n-s-o-n." (Note, not even the same name half the time, at least not that I can tell, it's so hard to hear.)

"Wait? Your First Name Only Please."

"Oh. Tyequay."

"Spell that please."

"T-y-e-q-u-a-y"

We could already be done with the freaking order if you had just listened to the question the first time you idiot.

Warranty is what then?

Cus walks in with charging issue.

ME: Yep it looks like your charger port is broken, it could have happened when ever you dropped it.

CUS: I've never dropped it. I need it exchanged.

ME:Well since its sooo beat up the warranty wont cover it, but you can claim your ins if you have it.

CUS:Why the f*ck is that? Its not my fault.

ME:Sir if you will look at the phone it looks like its been dropped several times with many scratches.

CUS: They should tell you this when you buy the phone I'm going back to ALLTEL!

ME: Sir warranty is stated in your manual when you buy the phone.

CUS: Who reads those! Warranty is what then?

ME: ๐Ÿคจ Warranty covers Defects NOT damage.
