wtf?? are u that stupid!

Guy walks in and wants to start new service.

Me: Can I see ur ID?
Him: ::blank stare::
Me: Your ID?
Him: ID...I don't have it with me...
Me: Well...do you know ur ID number so we can at least do the credit check?
Him: I know my name
Me: ::Blank stare::

Yeah...and thats been the only custy all day.

I swear!

Some lady called in because she wasn't happy with her BlackJack. She'd bought it back in MARCH, and wasnted us to exchange it because her "email wasn't working correctly" and she complained that a month was long enough to determine if she liked a device or not. Needless to say, she didn't get an exchange.

Then she calls up CS to see what they can do, and I go back to check the notes twenty minutes later. The CS rep had flipped her data feature to a phone feature instead of a PDA one! I hate CS as much as these retarded customers.

FYI, I put the feature back on a PDA so that the scuzzbag CS rep wont make a dime.

Ahhh...so you used your phone in Africa..(long)

had this lady come in about a month ago. her son is going to africa for some sh*t he needed a new phone. well little wanted the blackjack.

they can't upgrade any of their lines, the mother calls her husband to come down open a new account in his name so they can get the phone for their son.

i tell them with they package they have 900min unlimited internet use/textmsgs.

i also tell them to add international roaming closer to his departure date, educate them on the charges it will cost to make CALLS from overthere. i also tell them they can EMAIL pictures, NOT TEXT msg them.

well they did one thing right, they added international roaming, however little buddy decides while he's over there to use 1134 of his 900min, and send 700 tex...

Samsung D807

I really want to get the Samsung D807 from AT&T, i have been waiting almost a month for it to come back into stock, however today when i called they said it was discontinued for good. Is there anywhere else i can buy this phone from?? I saw it on tigerdirect.com, they have an unlocked version. If i buy the unlocked version can i use it on cingular/at&t's service and still have full use of all the features??

Looking for disappointment.

So the girl is just begging to be disappointed.

She is planning on traveling in Mexico and S. America (though she doesn't even know what countries are in S. America, never mind which she's going to be visiting.)

She wants a phone she can use on her trip, which we can provide, but you have to pay international roaming.

She wants a phone that she can pay for it here but have local coverage and not pay roaming anywhere.

I'm pretty sure that sort of package doesn't exist. At least not on the Consumer side (I know some business plans have that option.)

Things to do at a store with no traffic?

What do you guys do to pass the endless hours of a dead store? I'm out of phonescoop to read and I've got nothing to do for the next 6 hours...

Any suggestions that don't involve me getting on ebay and wasting money on stuff?

You don't even deny it!

So what reasoning (or whatever passes for it) would lead you to believe that you could just set up service with a carrier when you have a previous account that still owes over $500?

She knew! When I told her she said "Oh I know." and then got indignant that we wouldn't set her up anyways. You've already shown you're not going to pay us!

Why on earth would we set you up with new service?

Zip Codes

People have to stop telling me their zip code is "631" when I ask them for their ZIP code and not their AREA code.

hi everybody!!!
i want to tell you something that happened to me a few days ago. i work on Spanish call center of sprint and when i open a call i said:

"tank you for calling my name is Alex, can i get your number starting with code please???"

and customer said...
"yes..." and nothing else

then i asked again
"can i get your number please???"

and then cust said again
"mmm..., yes..."

i told him...
"Sr i need that you give me your number to be able to access your account!!!"

and then i heard how cust was pushing the keys on the keypad of the device, i put the mute and start laugh. i think how possible is that something like that happen? and then think again and said, "be patient, this is gonna be a long call!!!"

Customer calls in to the store:

C: Hi, I bought a Sprint phone through you guys yesterday and I have a question.
Me: Sure, what can I help you with?
C: Well, you gave me this rebate form here and I can't understand it.
Me: ๐Ÿคจ Okay, what's the problem?
C: Okay, near the top there's six places and it says to put your number there... do they want my new cell number or my home number?
Me: Your cell number, ma'am. ๐Ÿ™„
C: But there's six places, and I only got one phone. Did I get the wrong form?
Me: No, just put your cell number in the first place.
C: Oh, okay. Now, it says first name/business name... do I put where I work there?
Me: ๐Ÿ˜ณ

It continues like this for a few minutes, then:
C: Oh shoot, I messed up. It says I ...

Funny Story

Just got a call from a woman in Vermont. She recently moved form Burlington to the country and now her signal is low...she honestly asked me if the cow's on her property would interfear with the signal !!!! ...I had to ask if they were Jersey or Gurnsee...lol

Smokers on all day solo shifts?

I work all day alone sometimes and can't go on any breaks because I'm at a kiosk. I normally smoke a half pack a day and after like 5 or 6 hours in the store I'm dying for a smoke. I have tried chewing while at work but then a customer comes up and I can't spit in front of them, not to mention it gross anyways. I have tried Camel Snuzz that doesn't require spitting but I find the concept of swallowing (lol) tabacco juice strange Anyone else have this dilemma or a solution?

I know someone you are thinking "Just quit" - Yeah I'll quit smoking when I quit commission sales! ๐Ÿ˜›

I don't have any empathy for this..
This lady was pissed because she didn't have her phone. She said "I have 4 kids to feed!"
I apologized for the inconvenience.
She said "Well that aint gonna help keep food in my kids mouths..."
I said "well maybe you can get a temporary phone or a pre paid phone?"
she said "Again hows that gonna help me feed my kids. I have 4 kids!"

WTH? What did we EVER do without cell phones?

My boss' friend is CRAZY.

They wanted to trade out there phone.

1) They are past the 30 days.

2) The phone won't power on.

3) The phone has scratches.

4) They didn't bring anything but the phone. No box, no reciept, no nothing.

5) They sent in the rebate.

They got mad when I refuse to take back the phone.

account holder information

this guy comes in with a white chocolate, esn change, blah blah, but he's not the account holder. I explain to him that the account holder's info is needed. he says that he's not, but needs the change anyway. he gives me acc. holder's name, address, but nothing VITAL. He then proceeds to give me the last THREE of his social (when I asked for the last four SEVERAL TIMES). it was great.

why do people think that just because they bought the phone with 'company a' that they can return it with any 'company a' store? "yes, i see that you got it through customer service and they sent it to you through the mail. oh now you don't want it? ok now you have to send it back through the mail to customer service. no i cannot return it at the retail store, nor do i want to. why you ask? well, you took the easy way and called customer service to upgrade and gave them the commission and now you want to take the easy way again and return the phone that you don't want to our store and have us do the bullsh!t work so you don't have to do it. so i'm gonna go with no, do it yourself you lazy fat piece of sh!t."
