a man calls in to get international roaming in canada and costa rica added to his bill- he is not happy with some policy re intl service he decides that bec he has been a long time loyal cust that he should get free intl roaming...or else...OMG...he will switch to another carrier...!!! OMG... don't do that... ๐

cst came in with rebate cards and stated they didn't work. Asked if they were ever activated and cst said no, then stated they were never told to call and activate it. informed customer the instructions were on the letter the cards were attached to. After cst handed me the cards, they had an expiration date of July 07. Informed customer they were expired. Cst said they should tell you about that. Pointed out the expiration dates on the cards which are labeled "exipration date" and say when the cards expire.
This will probably be the high point of my day.

Long Hold Times
Why are the hold times so high? Call volume? Reps abusing the system to avoid calls? Faulty Website?

It's the cursed software.
It has never (ever) worked correctly. There isn't a week that goes by that we don't have a sup run around saying "Get out of Idiotprogram! They're going to reboot the server." or an e-mail saying "If you have more than five minutes between screens log out and delete your offline content and start over!" Five minutes between screens? Our Average Handle time is supposed to be less than 8 minutes.
How in the 9 circles of hell do they expect us to get through any orders when the minute we ge...

manipulative customers!
i just dont understand when a customer calls in, and has a phone problem or a problem with their, and you do everything you can to help them but is is never good enough, then they ask to speak to your supervisor, not realizing that the supervisor will tell them the exact same thing, they think that any time there is a problem with the network that A: we can fix it right away not!!!, B: that we should credit them for their inconvenience not!!!, and C: that if they speak to 1 or more managers that thier problems will go away, that they will get a different answer and that they will get a credit every time they call and complain!, i love working at a call center, but those kind of calls make the job a lot harder than it needs to be! l8ers ...

This lady came in asked me where do people go to apply to work for t-mobile. i said go to tmobile.com/careers.
lady: where is the store?
Me: you could go to the coporate store, but they will tell you to apply via online. thats what they told me.
lady: i dont care what they told you. my friend works for them and my other friend wants to work there.
me: tells her where is the nearest corporate store. do you want to work for the calling center or authorized dealer.
lady: the calling center, i dont need you attitude.
me: tells her where it is
and she just walks away, and i am like what the heck just happend???

I got the one he needed and started to ring him up, I asked for his name and he cais "Cody"
I asked for his last name and he go all defensive "what do you need all my information for!?!?"
I wanted his full name so I could look him up and ring out the charger under his name, so in case he needs to exchange it for any reason he can.
he said "that won't be necesary" and handed me his credit card to pay for it. (with his name printed right on it)

He had to ask who has the best coverage in the area?
WTF???
What I supposed to tell him??
I said you are in my store and I sm going to say that I don't have the best coverage??
Then the guy says that you must not have the best coverage if you are going to tell me that.
His buddy then says lets leave because I don't like his attitude.
They leave..WHOHOO..
This is all the while I am waiting on this other customer.
