I think I'm gonna start punching...

customers in the neck everytime they come in and are jackasses 👿 I can think of 2 today that woulda really deserved it. First guy just comes in, tracks mud all over my carpet, then just uses one of my livebar phones to call his buddy. So, I proceed to vacuum up the mud after it dries and spot clean the rest, then, the as*hole comes back in and does it again so I tell him to get out!!

Next one is this girl who bought a phone out right on the 1st. We have a 30 return period on all phones, but they have to be in new condition still. So I inspect the phone and ask her why she wants to return it and she says its acting all funky and shuts off on her all the time. sprint ESN hotline

Posted this in Sprint's forum, wanted the opinions of my peeps here.

so, I wanna purchase an a920 for my wife, through a new act. that I did from Sprint to VZ 😎 and I wanna make SURE prior to buying it that the ESN won't be hotlined.

The customers did not port their numbers in, but did cancel their Sprint account. The local sprint store I called informed me that there was no way that the ESN could be hotlined if the customer initiated the cancellation of the service, even if the final bill was not paid up after the fact.

I don't wanna drop $$ on this phone if I would be screwed by doing so. it's for my wife, and she would love the capabilities of that phone; I just want to be SURE that the phone will not be turned off in a ...

wow! a crazy start to a day(long but interesting)

we open the store at 10am today and i got here at exactly 10. when i got here there was a lady and her daughter already waiting in front. The lady(50 or so) was really relieved i had arrived and said that her phone had died on her and she was in a hurry to get to the hospital. she said her husband was in there so she had to him and call relatives but her phone was dead and she didn't know any of the numbers(water damage of course).

she hands me a flier for a free phone with a new contract plus a bluetooth. i let her know that this doesn't apply to her and that because she was a secondary. this is where it gets crazy.

A$$hole call center reps

My biggest beefs with call center people...

1. They will grant access to the account to anyone but the account holder. They especially like to process upgrades and feature changes for people who are not authorized users but the actual account holder cant eve ask qestions about their bill.

2. They tell customers that the corporate retail stores can do things like - test batteries - troubleshoot PDA phones - install phone software - fix broken phones.

3. Dont like to give dealers crdit for sales, plan migrations, and other shi+ we get paid for and they dont even work on commission.

Not all call center reps are shi+ it just seems like the ones I deal with are.

Customer: I was told by your manager that I could get a RAZR2 for free.

Me: That is a lie.

Customer: How dare you? I talked to your manager on Saturday. He said that you will give me a RAZR2 for free. (Points to the poster we have of the RAZR2 which does not say it is free).

Me: Really? Well, I didn't see HER here. That's weird since I was here by myself ALL DAY.

Customer: I know who I talked to. You just trying to make me pay for the phone.

Me: 1) It is $300 with a 2 year contract everywhere. NO ONE IS GOING TO SELL IT FOR FREE!
2)I actually was here all day Saturday, since I work that shift practically EVERY SATURDAY!

AT&T Cor and Agent Opinions

Ok, I am going to sum this customers problem, and I would like for AT&T cor employess and AT&T agent employees to ring in on your thoughts/opinions . . .

Customer went into agent AT&T store, wanted to do an upgrade but wasnt eligible. They sold her a black V3 at full retail. Customer was given a receipt that CLEARLY stated a 7 day return policy.

After customer left agent, called customer service and found out she was eligible for early upgrade at COR store. Was instructed to go back to agent store and return phone. Went there, and rep would not return the equipement stating that they have a NO RETURN policy on equipment that was purchased at Full retail. However, her receipt CLEARLY states "Return within 7 days for full refund."

Your customer is legally dead.

So this is seriously a first for me.

Order comes in and the computer is having trouble running credit.

First problem.

He's miss-spelled his last name (it was just a double letter so nothing big.)

But because of this I have to call our credit dept to get the class.

They say "Your customer was listed as dead on the 9th of December, 2002." They also say that he's showing multiple birth-dates.

So I go back to the customer. Oh, I used my dad's social, yeah he's dead.

Why the hell would you do that?

Off with you, go replace your order under your own friggen information you tard.

A customer comes in with her V323i and wanted to know what Voice Privacy is and what it does. I have no idea, I told her I would try and find out and give a her a call back. Do any of you know what Voice Privacy is and what it does?

store reps who want to lie...(very long rant)

1st off - i know that not all store reps are evil - so please don't take this personally.

I had a store rep call into care to dispute the customers internet charges. customer was on a media pkg (that included 1 MB) and used waaaaaaay over his usage - by 25 MB+! but he calls me to see about crediting the account. I tell him after going through the notes and contract that the feature was added at time of activation (sept 2006) and has not been changed or asked to be removed. and to top it off - you were the agent that activated the line/account and added the feature. Ok: 1)don't call me to dispute charges when you as a cor store have access to the same system i do and can do a credit. 2) Don't call me on behalf of the customer and then ...

Return Policies

A prior post made me recall an incident last year during a big power outage. We were selling through car chargers at an incredible rate, so we imposed a no returns policy on car chargers. Our reasoning was that this way people who honestly want them could purchase them and it would discourage those who would purchase them for a day and return them once their phone was charged. We figured they should be available to people who honestly wanted them. With every sale we informed the customer of our no return policy to be sure they wanted them.

Well, sure enough one lady comes back at closing trying to return a charger and I turn her down. She claims she found it cheaper else where but I still turned her down as I was out of that charger ...

Have you ever gotten a call that made you compleatly awear of how incompetent you are?

I just did, I work for the "Yellow/Black" company, and I just got a call from a Motorola Corp account... It was a tech issue I've never heard of and on a phone that is not yet available (doesnt even have a name, just labled "test Kit")- talk about flying blind. Thanks to a tech rep sitting next to me I was able to fix it, but when i first got the call i just wanted to say "oh F*CK!" 🤣
