prepay vs postpay

i just had a customer who came in my store and got upset with me because they have to keep putting money on their prepay phone and it is costing them somewhere around $150 a month...first thing i did was weigh their options for a postpay and show them how they could save about $65 monthly by switching to a contract...they said they had crappy credit and would have to put up a big deposit...i asked them if they had run credit before buying the prepaid phone and they said no...i ran their credit and they had a $200 deposit...i tried to tell them it would pay for itself in the long run by cutting down on their monthly bill but they still insisted they couldn't afford the deposit...so what did they do??? put $125 on their d@mn prepay phone...it...

Unsafe workplace

If I kept my fake wood floor either covered in oil or with a few cm of water and had a "wet floor" sign up, could I still be sued if a parent let their kid run around and he busted his head open?

Some old lady just stunk up my kiosk while looking for a battery for her Tracfone. It smells like rancid onions in here now... and she left about ten minutes ago... someone help me... đŸ˜ĸ

Quick question

Are there any other carriers out there that use *2 as their shortcut to customer service, other than Sprint? I have a theory that Sprint is behind the MOSH Mobile service.

Dumba$$ co workers

So my buddy that sells a different carrier but for the same company as me had a return past 30 days. Why would that be? The customer decided to go with someone else and brought it in on the 31st day while my friend was off. His co worker worked a few hours to make customer service return the phone then get an over ride in our system to return it. The rep that did this doesn't have the best numbers and I think has a case of penis envy. Isn't saving sales some what gratifying? If my co worker did this I may very well kill them.

VZW customer service is SHADY!!! (long rant)

So yester day a co-worker of mine had a customer come back in to our store to return a phone...here is why: When he activated the phone the lady had pre-paid Verizon. But she still had over 2 hours on her pre-paid so didnt want to port her number just yet to a VZW post paid plan. Well a week later her pre-paid minutes were used so she calls customer care to get her pre-paid number ported to her post paid account. So you know what the customer service rep did? They told the customer that it was not possible to port her number so they instructed her to bring her phone back and cancel the line of service she activated with us. Well, we pull up the account and all they did was sign her up on anther post paid plan with her pre-paid phone number p...

Just wanted to say something to a store rep in IL

who works for verizon... Thank you for not taking it out on me. You said the customer was promised something and I believe you.. I know your job is a lot harder than mine and I am very thankful you didn't yell at me and give me crap.. I could just hug you..lol
You really should call back if you have any problems and just speak to a manager.. I really hope you see this..

Why, why, why?

Who comes into a mobile phone store/kiosk, and expects to be able to activate a new line of service without bringing thier valid state issued ID or credit cards, or money, or even thier check book? Then they get all pissy with me because i can't help them. Don't yell at me because you have to drive back home and get all that stuff. It's your dumbass fault for not bringing it to begin with. RAWR!!!!!

Ahhhhhh

I have talked to all walks of stupidity today!!! When I have told you that "I got it" I don't need you to repeat it 4 more times!!!!! Everyone is being really complicated today for no reason!!! And to top it off, the salesmen I deal with make 6 figures and I am doing all the work!!!!

Sorry just needed to vent. I'm better now, especially since I going to lunch in a less than a half hour

I HATE airplane mode

I know that turning the "Radio" part of your phone on and off is a hard concept but how the hell do your turn it off without even knowing that it is a feature. This is the second time someone has don't this too me in the last 2 weeks. First time it was someone who only spoke Spanish and yelled and yelled so I walked with him to Taco Time to get a translator and the Hispanic guy there apparently doesn't speak Spanish, so I go to the pizza place for a translator just to get him to put his phone preferences in English so I can fix it. That shut him up quick. Second customer I shipped a N75 to and the day she got it some how managed to turn off the phone mode before every even making a call!!! Does pressing buttons that your have no idea wh...

Uninteresting Celebrity Sighting...

Jared, the guy from the Subway commercials stopped by my kiosk for some accessories for his Treo. Unsure why he was in my mall, but it was really him. He's alot more dorky looking in person than he is on T.V. He seemed like he could be a real dick. He had kind of a I'm better than you attitude about him. Anyways, that's my uninteresting celebrity sighting today.

And one for the road!

Been here for about 9 hours today. All I did was one add-on line about 8 hours ago. Since then, i've had nothing until about an hour ago. Just landed me a nice 6 line business activation. Good way to end what I thought was going to be a non productive day. Woot!!!!

Dummy: Do you know the number to Cingular. I called 5 different Cingular stores and they are all AT&T.

A.D.: Because I don't see no cell phone. So how can you sell them.

NO, it does not change your billing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many F'n times do I have to explain to a customer that an ESN change does not affect thier billing before they understand what it is? You are just taking the phone number from an older phone and associating it to a newer model. What is so F'n hard to understand about that. It does not cost you anything! It will not affect your billing! You will not get colon cancer and die! You will just have a new phone with the same F'n phone number as you had before. RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
