then she wants to change to the simply everything plan and get a new phone, for free, even tho she still has like 5 months on her contract. i tried to explain to her that she would not get a phone for free and that she would have to sign a new contract to get the $75 off a phone.
so then she flips out on me about that. saying that its crap that i will let her "upgrade her plan" but wont GIVE her the phone THAT GOES WITH THAT PLAN. I tired explaining that any phone will work with that plan and that we WONT GIVE h...

Water Damaged
I took the the phone looked it over and took the battery out...Seriously water damaged. To the point where water was still in the phone. Now i ask you...How do you not notice that and why in the world would you come in to a store and play dumb? ๐คจ Can someone please explain dumb people to me?

Need some advice from fellow workers
Basically we had people come in and install new surveillance equipment, and from what i've heard, it includes audio.
Now, i'm on pretty good terms with management and i enjoy my job. However, some employees have been written up for "saying things caught on the tape" such as, "Oh we'll just clean that up tomorrow" or "You need to go to a corporate store to handle that".
It's getting pretty ridiculous though. We have to whisper everytime something outside of work in mentioned for fear of a phone call.

Idiot Snowbirds... Venting
I had this angry, irritating snowbird come into the store this morning. She's waiting at the door 45 minutes before we open and tries to slip in behind me when I get there. I politely tell her we don't open for another 45 minutes but once I get everything setup I would be happy to help her. 25 minutes later I've disarmed the alarm, put away the deposit and opened the registers. I let her in.
She is angry because she's been waiting for almost an hour, I apologized and pointed to the posted hours and restated our actual opening time.
Apparently she's got a Simple Freedom phone that she purchased at Walmart in Michigan last year. She's says she is being charged for roaming and says she has in writing that there are...

Missing sales...
Customer was eligible for an annual on an aircard. Lost his card. Had insurance. Could have gotten a new card for less than the deductible (after rebate) and the coworker walked them saying insurance was a better deal. Being 3rd party, we would have made a good amount on the deal.
A few other customers have been in eligible for renewal or looking for new service and these coworkers are more concerned about there social lives to pay attention and sell the phones.
I would have stepped in and saved but I was stuck with my own customers' questions about high bills and broken chargers, etc. It just hurts to think how much mon...

A few months back, I had this customer come into my store, demanding new phones. I looked up her account to see if she was eligible. She had only been in her contract for about a year. I asked what was wrong with the phones. She said the service in her area "stunk." I asked if her problems with reception had recently started. She told me that the phones had NEVER worked in her area from day 1.
ME: Were you told of the 30 Day Service Guarantee?
C: Yes.
ME: And you didn't cancel?
C: No.
I told her if she wanted new phones, she would either be paying full retail price, or she could pay an early upgrade fee and resign. I also told her she might get some different answers from customer service.
