As I stare out the window...

I ponder on why people never park in front of the store the are going to... Instead they park two store fronts down and walk across to the store. o_O

I just found out....

That someone in my company got written up because he wore a coat on the sales floor. Even though you could see his nametag and the logo on the shirt, and nowhere in the policies does it say that you cant wear a coat while on the sales floor. What kind of crap is that. I got written up for sitting down even though I have a bad foot and they knew that when I got hired that I couldnt stand for the full shift. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

I guess she couldn't afford a BlueTooth Headset....

So I was walking thru the mall today, to the pizza shop, and I walk past this lady who was talking on her phone... in her ear...

Yes, her phone was somehow attached to her ear... not a Bluetooth headset, an actual *phone* was attached to her ear, and she was not holding it with her hands... I know this because I had to do a double-take at it...

It was a Samsung Behold if I'm not mistaken... sorta large, rectangular shaped, pink on one side...

Just finished moving my store into its new location.

Moved it from a really crappy location into a much better and visible one.

Any help on what to do to help get traffic into store besides radio and newspaper?

???????

Did you ever have a customer come into your store/kiosk and when they left nothing was accomplished and you have absolutely no idea what they even wanted or what they were even talking about?

All i got from this customer I think, was that a phone on her family plan was stolen. She had 2 pre-paid phones with her. I think she wanted me to activate one of those on the stolen phones line. Can't do that. Then i think she asked about putting minutes on one of the prepay phones. I was about to ring up the sale and she told me no she didnt want minutes on the phone. She just told me a minute ago she wanted minutes on it. At least I think so. She talked so fast and mumbled the whole time I couldn't really understand her. She left and apologized fo...

sprint welcome call

is by far the stupidest thing ever thought of by the company. If those dumb-ass outsourced care agents didn't spew every bit of sprint service bull$hit, and to scare the $hit out of my customers with ridiculous bills that don't reflect the actual bill. To sprint higher ups who thought of this ridiculous practice, and those people unfortunate enough to work for the welcome calls, you need to do something to get rid of it. ATT doesn't do it, and people love it. I've lost quite a bit of sales by customers pissed off by "shana" the Cayman islands trying to sell her airrave service in a single story house. argh! ok, im done ๐Ÿ™‚

Tips

So this lady came into my store today because her phone bill was really high and wanted to see what we could do to save some money. She was on a regional plan and got a new boyfriend who has a long distance number. So I switched her to the new tmobile loyalty plan for the same price. She was really happy with my service and wanted to buy me a coffee. I politely declined since I don't drink coffee and already had a energy drink. She left and then came back a few mins later and said she just wanted to thank me again. She went to shake my hand and placed a folded up $20 in my hand. She left quickly so there was no real way I could decline. Normally we are not suppose to take tips. What would you guys do in this type if situation?

another epic adventure with smart monkey...

So as I was sitting in my very at&t branded store minding my own business thinking about what to have for lunch. In walks a pair of corporate gents with vintage 7130 verizon blackberries. Its been a long, long, long time since this was a popular phone with vzw in fact even when I worked for them I never saw one on an accout. Back on topic though so mr.corporate man asks me to fix his sure type because he never changed the settings but now it doesn't work.So I ask if I can see the blackberry and maybe I can figure it out. After going through settings and a hard reset the thing is still not working. Mr corporate wants me to call someone to fix it I take a deep breathe and calmly avoid the urge to point at any of very noticeable at&t globes, and ...

What's a good way to solicit or approach customers without being obnoxious?

I work in a mall, in a kiosk, and where I shine when people actually come up to the kiosk with questions or look at phones, therein lies the problem: hardly anyone stops at this kiosk... at all... ๐Ÿ˜ข

I see alot of people walk by, mostly old people in the morning, moms with all their baby strollers, mostly teenagers later on in the day...

What's a good way to stop people and be like "Hey, want to buy a phone?" without being obnoxious or.. whatever?

Signed,

IF GOD EXISTS...

He'll have mercy on me and this dumbass customer in my store who thinks that a supervisor from my company is going to tell me to take his cash payment without the $3 fee we (as a preferred retailer) must charge!

๐Ÿคฃ

We couldn't pull up his account to verify and enter a billing address into our payment system because his account is suspended.

C: What's wrong with cash these days?!
Me: ๐Ÿ‘€ Nothing, sir. Honestly, this store only takes cash payments.

Customer... then gets on phone and talks to a supervisor. Supervisor credits his account the $3, but the way she explained it to me was that I was going to not charge him. I just took it out of his payment. And she gave me the billing address.
