Handset Upgrade Fees

I dont often relate to customers but... To tell a customer that "(insert company) is willing to give $150 off the purchase of a new phone" then charge them $18 for accepting the offer is MADNESS. Why not just deduct the $18 from the discount amount and honestly tell the customer your only getting $132 off??? Doesnt that make more sense? P.S. im new and im sure this thread has been done before but...

i hate my supervisor

i don't feel good. i don't want to be at work. i'm getting ready to seriously lose it on some customers. i ask my supervisor if i can go home and i have some sick time. he said no. wtf?! why is that? i mean i have the option to walk out and lose my job, but i don't really want to do that... i just don't know how they can tell me i can't leave when i'm like dying at my cubicle...? ๐Ÿ‘ฟ ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿ˜• โ˜น๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜ข ๐Ÿ˜ณ

WHY!?!?!??????????????????

Why do I have to have immature people working in my store? An employee of mine somehow got logged in under me to ring out a bill payment, and put very obscene remarks in the address field of the customer info screen. Luckily I caught it before someone at my corporate office.

Another on of those Customers

Guy just walked in all gleefull and happy until I told him we are not allowed to pull the Palm Pre out of the back unless they are going to purchase it. Reason being I live in NE Portland and crime might not be as bad as some cities but we have had 2 demo's stolen from the store.

I proceeded to give him the reason why I cannot show him the phone: I will get fired.
Mid sentence he stops me and says I don't need to hear your reasoning and gives me a dirty look and proceeds to leave...

Have a great day Sir I'm glad you came in.

He didn't like that comment to much.

Once again why can't everyone be happy like me?
I love angry customers! They make my day better.

How is the Blackberry Curve 8900?

I currently have a Storm that I'm not that happy with (I don't care for the touch screen) and I'm looking to get something new. Let me know your thoughts on the 8900 and what else I should look at.

Circuit city repairs...

So all of us here who work at radioshack have had to take care of circuit city's customers at some point in time over the last 2 months. Well I have this guy who sends his laptop in like eeeeevery phuckin week. I can't wait until he's out of warranty. I can't wait. He's such a d-bag. I'm sorry you bought a *hitty laptop for circuit city and now it's all phucked up. ๐Ÿ™„

Because it has been a deathly slow day here I have been reduced to reading online reviews of phone from VZW's website.

Here are a few I thought you all may enjoy...

"I bought this to replace my first HTC touch, it's possibly the cheapest smart phone on the market, and by cheap I don't mean cost. I had it in my back pocket where I have been carrying my phone for a couple of years and broke the screen"

Me: I'm sorry we don't open till 10am

Customer: But your online site says 9am!

Me: This store opens at 10am it says it on all the signs posted on front of the store.

She was mad and threw a hissy fit on the way out.

45 minutes later she comes in and bought a phone and accessories and had to pay extra cause she wasn't eligible for the full upgrade.

Sold her the phone then fixed her old one right before she left and she was mad that she had just bought a new phone!

I thought it was funny. Her.... not so much.

Is anyone out there a happy customer???
I'm happy why can't you be?

i love it when..

i love it when a cust puts me on hold. to pick up another ph..(talk to their boo)

i love it when a cust has an accent. when i have to repeat the information over and over again. or when they say "fo".... its four.. cmon. you can do it.. "f.o.u.r."

i love it when a cust cuts me off in the middle of some important info.. (real mature)

i love it when a cust says his number is not 123-123-1234 but its 123-123-12-34(wow) ๐Ÿ‘€

i love it when a cust doesn't know his own address. (seriously) (youve been living there for years...)

Customer, when I ask you if there is anything I can do for you, and you look at me for half a second and then go right back to perusing the rate plans, don't yell at me that you were here first when I go to help another customer. I offered, you didn't take me up on it, wait your turn.
