There is talk about the Blackberry 7520 being released for Nextel. Does anyone have any idea if this is true or not? If so, is there any release date for it?

Has anyone heard if Nextel is planning on offering Direct Talk on more of their phones (i830,i860, etc...). It would be a great feature to have without having to buy the brick 325 or 315. I am considering upgrading phones from my i95 soon, but would wait if they were doing this in the near future. Any leads would be appreciated.

So I lost my i95cl, called insurance and set up for a replacement. When I got the phone, I was told that replacement would be $35, the same as Sprint when I worked for them. So I get my bill and bam $100 charge. So I look at Nextel's website and it is $35 for replacements, except for the i95, i730, and the NASCAR phones. What the hell is that about. I was never told, or I would have canceled my account because I still have my Sprint phone for free, $65 extra dollars because its a color phone is ridiculous. Any advice would be appreciated.

anyway i was looking at nextel's website and they didnt really offer alot of info on their GPS. Global Positioning Satelite. I really like the idea of having the resource to know where my nextel phones are. How much does this cost? Any additional info that i should know of?

bostonian area. Im starting off with an individual plan until my family gets off their contract. Anyway it is true that nextel DOESNT offer m2m free? If so how come and what is wrong with their silly stupid brains. Ok, i could see if they just let you use unlimited walktalkie but they dont even have that feature on their family plans. THEY REALLY NEED TO RECONSIDER ! ! !

Screw the i860 and i930. The 860 is junk, I don't care what any of you say. It is made poorly and it just feels very chincy. The 930 is going to look like a damn stun gun from 1985 who needs all that crap. Anyway the i833 Pininfarina Special Edition is the best phone I have ever seen. Especially the all red one. The phone is small as hell and looks unbelievable. THis is the phone to get. I was told Bloomingdales will get it this November but I could have been informed wrong. IF anyone has any info please post. Its a telephone. You TALK on it. Leave the other crap to your computer.

I just wanted to say that I've had Nextel for a year and I have not been impressed in the northern CT area. However I did recently take my phone and two other phones (Cingular and Verizon) around and check service in different spots. If you live in southern MASS or anywhere in CT I would strongly recommend that you pick Cingular, it has the best overall coverage beating Nextel and Verizon. Plus with Cingular buying out AT&T their service will become even stronger.
