If you accept a new 2 yr agreement the 860 will run $349.99 plus a $50 mail in rebate. However if you have it shipped there is shipping, a $35 upgrade fee, and tax. I have processed a few of these orders and the total came to $412.00. After the rebate $360. the phone is great.

There is always e-bay to sell it also. If it's in decent shape you should be able to get at least $75.00 for it.

yea that is true. there is ebay, and there is www.nextelbuyback.com.

but with ebay you have to pay a portion of your sales to ebay plus other fees, however with buyback program you dont have to pay anything, and nextel supplies you with the fedex label. all you need to do is get a box, use their fed ex label and ship it..

But you can get a lot more on e-bay than you can from NEXTEL buy-back. I see i730's going for around $200 and i95's going for around $150 as long as you have the SIM card.

NEXTEL buy-back is good if you don't want to deal with setting up a pay-pal account and pay 3% + posting fees to e-bay. You do get a lot less than what the phone is worth though.

Either way is a decent way to pass along a phone.
