Hey I'm looking to become an authorized dealer for nextel and boost mobile. Got as far as the preliminary app for nextel but sending email after email to boost and got nowhere. Does anyone know of any easier way to get in contact with someone who can get me the info on being an authorized dealer for either comp?

My friend has nextel and wants to give her boyfriend the contract. They went to the store, had the credit ran, came back no deposit but they told him he'd have to pay $50 for the check. So of course they left and went someplace else with the credit check number and they said they didn't have to pay that, but she'd have to pay the etf. None of it sounds right. I admit I work for cingular and not nextel, but I've never seen anybody have to pay the etf to do a transfer or service. Any ideas?

My new job will require me to travel into rural areas of Ohio. I am planning to switch from Cingular to Nextel but I'm not sure the coverage is good enough. Any opinions on Nextel would be appreciated.

Why does it take nextel so long to release new phones? They dont even have a large selection of phones to choose from and they only have one camera phone. All the other carriers have at least five camera phones. I know the i930 is comming out soon but that is a smartphone and not everyone wants that. They will still only have two camera phones to choose from. The thing I hate the most is that it takes Nextel such a long time to discontinue phones. Nextel sucks and even when the merger is over, it will still suck! I have been with verizon for fifteen years and I will never switch to any other carrier.

my i95cl keeps telling me this, "Unsupported Content Type" when i go to use my text messaging and other internet options. i have two way messaging for 7.50... i dont know whats wrong with it and i dont really have enough time to go and have it looked at. has anyone eles had issues with this? PLEASE HELP! ive had nextel for only 2 weeks! so i dont know if this is normal or if my phone is screwed up... it does have 340:07:58 lifetime!

Does anyone know when the retail outlets
are going to get the i860 extended battery cover. I've called around and the local (south FL) NEXTEL stores can't say when they are going to get them.

I see that they are on the NEXTEL website
but I refuse to spend 6 bucks on shipping
and the AM are cheap plastic.

Does anyone know why Nextel dumped their Flarion trial? I thought they were going very well, and would be a great jump to go to 4G tech. And if anyone knows, is Sprextel going to be EV-DO based? This is likely due to all the extra spectrum that they exchanged with the FCC, but what is going to be done with the 2.5 Mhz liscenses?

Even thought I already have a phone service, I wanna get the walkie talkie because alot of my friends have it but dont want the boost mobile phones. can i get the regular blue/blk 860 and use it with boost mobile?

to be honest with you I have tried both and I'm in the Chicago area they were both absolutely terrible!! Dropped calls were horrible!!! I hope this merger was worth it for sprint seems like a futile attempt to save a dying company! both J.D power and consumer reports as well as the cbs2chicago "great cellular test" back my facts good luck

I have the i830 phone through Nextel and I love it except for the fact that I can't seem to download wallpaper. I can, but the only place that I can download them from is Nextel.com and all of the wallpapers that they have are too small for the i830 and they come out blurry or start to wrap around the screen. Could anyone help me with this? Perhaps suggest another place where I can download wallpapers from. I don't have the net on my phone activated and all of the websites that I have been to say that they don't support Nextel phones. Help!

GOD I REALLY HATE HOWARDFORUMS.
first of all it takes ~one hour to get a page to load, secondly the mods there are so dumb, and ban all the innocent people while the flamers are swaring non-stop. Third of all i posted a post that had a large space in between paragraphs... and they banned me for 72 hours. Come on now!!!!!!!
