I'm trying to decide what phone to get Friday morning. My choice is between the i830 and the i730 any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I've found the 830 has better reception. The 730 reception can be improved with a simple fix. The 830 is smaller and comes in two color choices. The basic functions of both phones is the same.
If you can afford it get the 860.
If you can afford it get the 860.

i wouldnt choose either of them... both have terrible RF signal drivers... the i830 has a terrible battery life... and the i730 well has bad everything.
my fav. phone that nextel has is the i860, however if you cant afford it, i would pick the 530, or the i710. both phones i had already and i feel that they are very good phones, they dont have an outside lcd (caller id) but big deal i guess. what is most important to me is the RF signal drivers and on the i530 and the i710 i had a very good experience in the RF signal driver; thus giving me great signal and "bars" or SQE numbers (for us techs)....
