If you could care less about tv and email is your main thing. I say go with it. But the pearl is smaller in size and screen.

That's right. You have a demo line; wouldn't trade that for anything. But sprints data network is good, not superior. I would call it superior to if I had a demo line. :)

Worth it yet? I dissagree. You pay $10 per month for unlimted usage. You have to try vz navigator to see what I am talking about. $10 per month; thats 120 per year for a gps device that is constantly updated. I think you should check it out, really.

I agree with some of what this guy said but not all. Let me see if I can clear this up; Nav is 10 bucks on Verizon for unlimited usage and it is not a useless app. It is a great tool for a salesperson. The new version of google maps has tons of bugs and should not be trusted. Wireless is so funny, people would rather have a buggy-ridden app for free than to pay for an app ...

The Voyager is the finest I have seen from LG. But I still think that Nokia is still number one. There phones are before their time.

A retard huh! Seems that word has been repeated. Is that the extent of the vernacular of people who use this phone? There has got to be a better word for you to use. That word is just rude to use. But I get it; it is not an iphone , it is the env's cousin. But golly geez, does it seem like LG gave Sprint the scraps on this one? Be honest . . . ...

I am so sorry. I never did like this phone. I love phones but this thing is hideous and I thought it was a horrible attempt at a voyager or iphone reincarnation. This is just my opinion. I am sure it is not shared. I don't mean to hurt anyone. But the phone is lack luster to me that is it. I am so sorry. Just to give haters a reason to poke at ...

Why not get both then? For me, it means spending 30 bucks more. Its a luxury that I enjoy but I don't know how long I will have it that way. The "toilet tv" is awesome (that is probably the only time I watch it) and all of the other features I will enjoy. I need the multimedia so my fam can get my pic texts. On the other hand, if you go to handango.com you ...

Exactly, this is why I have the blackberry. Please don't get me wrong; the voyager is not a blackberry replacement. It is cool to have alerts pushed to you when you get an email and it is cool to not have to take 2 phones with you on your days off or when you go to a movie. Get a blackberry if you can't live without email. Get the voyager to check your email from ...

Of course the blackberry is more consistant after several tries. But I do find that my blackberry 8830 and voyager chime at the same time. it is pretty awesome. In low coverage areas I find that it missed a chime but otherwise it is okay.

Mobile email is pretty strong. Sometimes I get email before my blackberry, serious and I'm not a fanboy. Do you know what this means? Anyway, the alerts are not that consistant when I tried repeatedly to beat the blackberry. However, I am thinking that if the blackberry gets it first then it may trump the mobile email. Who knows, it is still quick as hec dollgurnett!

It really sounds like you have the wrong phone. You may want a voyager but you need the flipshot. Get a flipshot if the camera functionality is your main concern. The voyager takes good pictures but you have to provide the lighting; otherwise you will be taking prison photos of everything.

I am still impressed. If the mobile email was more predictable that would be nice. I hear they may come out with other non subscription apps to it. This thing is definitely capable of a lot more. Starting to get the hang of the touch more. ONE THING FOR SURE; IF YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH THE IPOD AND THEN YOU GO TO THE VOYAGER, IT WILL TAKE SOME GETTING USE TOO.

I agree. I've had the phone more days now and I love it. The keyboard on the Q9m is super nice though but I can get8 use to the 8830. And of course I don't mind loosing the camera. I was even thinking about getting rid of my voyager too because the bb is so great. I have the voyager for fun and the 8830 for business. No, it is no expensive either, only ...

Same here. Was a die hard Moto fan, had the Q and Q9m. Downloaded fizz weather, monitory, IM+ from handango and lots of other software. Had my Q doing a send and recieve across 7 email accounts every 5 minutes, thats about 20-30 emails per day. It would freeze sometimes on MMS messages with all of this going on and my email would stick at times as well. Got the 8830 yesterday. I ...

hey man, I appreciate your comments. I am a corporate phone geek and I see your points quite clearly as I share them as well. The voyager is an attempt at a certain demographic; a demographic that I believe will be majority age 25 and below. Please do tell. If this phone has pda like functionality along with the vz navigator, email that I can retrieve at leastevery 5 min, this phone is mine! I currenlty have the q9m and just feel like I am getting robbed because this phone does not have vz navigator. Vz nav is such a killer app. But you know, att's q9h is going to have the 2mp camera and nav + its global. . . . .

I am not a moto q9m fan boy but I don't notice any major signal differences over the black q that I had. Call quality is great and the keyboard is superb over the last q. To be honest, my q9m is resembling blackberry like quality especially with my emails coming as frequenlty as they do. I do use the phone very frequenlty for data and voice. What kinda stash am I smoking? Apparently its the same kind of stash you sold to moto if you don't see moto running behind lg with every handset that comes out. Check it out. The v8 is the upgraded lg 8600. Look at the 8500 versus the rokr. Moto's strength has always innovative orginality.
