I have the lg voyager and it is great and i love it yet the iphone's screen is much more senstive! 😁 The voyager has the better network 😈 And before any of you say anything about the iphone being better, the voyager is the iphone for the verizon network and the same for the iphone. So any opinions from iphone owners?

The second part of that is the dumbest thing I've ever read. Quit trying to bring us down with you.

The iphone is an awesome phone, but I prefer the verizon network over att's! If I were to switch networks, I would go to att for the iphone! FAIR?

i would go with the iphone i have it so i am bias but the simple fact that you have regular updates and such to the phone makes me think that the iphones abilities and apps will change with time plus I'm still learning new tricks to use my iphone easier everyday the keyboard is really so great simply i never type out full words anymore it knows me its part of me and i love it

Wow! You guys are brutal to a guy that is considering jumping the fence. I though you would be a salesman and give him information to pursuede him instead of tear his thoughts down.

from phonenvy to fonecrzy; I am a Verizon user and the iphone is beautiful through and through. Yes, the IPHONE is beautiful; the 2g network that it is on is not as attractive though. I need the navigator right now (not going to get tom tom yet) and I enjoy the Voyagers attempt and ieverything; nav, email, tv, video, music. Mind you, I have a voyager and a blackberry. Not sure how long that will last but the blackberry is email heaven and I don't take 2 phones everywhere you know.

it comes down to what really matters to you:

1: Do you like having a fast internet speed over the phone, or can you wait a couple more seconds?

2: GPS on ANY phone is a joke, end of statement. Google maps is more than useful if you don't need someone telling you where to go and what to do.

3: Which carrier does a better job in your local area? Verizon or AT&T? (verizon is better where I live, but I sell for sprint so I get a dealer line cut. It's sweet.)

Take all of these into consideration. If you don't care about super fast internet where you can't get a wifi signal, go iPhone. If you want a GPS application, and pay 10-20 bucks a month to use it, go Voyager. Google maps is sweet, and it can locate you now. (Kinda.)

I agree with some of what this guy said but not all. Let me see if I can clear this up; Nav is 10 bucks on Verizon for unlimited usage and it is not a useless app. It is a great tool for a salesperson.

The new version of google maps has tons of bugs and should not be trusted.

Wireless is so funny, people would rather have a buggy-ridden app for free than to pay for an app that has been thoroughly tested and works.

But yes, coverage and practicality should be first.

It's all personal experience, I suppose. I had telenav for a week, and service was choppy where I live. It didn't even work at one point. Google maps is wonderful. Buggy, a little bit, but still wonderful.

But quite honestly, GPS on a phone isn't really worth it yet, in my opinion. I'd rather pay a one time fee for a tom tom than GPS on a phone.

Worth it yet? I dissagree. You pay $10 per month for unlimted usage. You have to try vz navigator to see what I am talking about.
$10 per month; thats 120 per year for a gps device that is constantly updated.

I think you should check it out, really.

but I'm on sprint. no chance getting VZW yet. Sprint's Data network is superior, and I still don't like the telenav. I duno. I'm not in a position where I need a GPS yet.

That's right. You have a demo line; wouldn't trade that for anything. But sprints data network is good, not superior. I would call it superior to if I had a demo line. 🙂
