If you could care less about tv and email is your main thing. I say go with it. But the pearl is smaller in size and screen.

You don't have to have a data plan, but it screws up your voicemail if you don't. I had a BB and got rid of it for the envee. Even trade because the salesman didn't know about that little quirk at the time, but I miss a LOT of features on the smart phone. Automatically shutting down when holstering among others.... Thinking about the voyager now or the venus. I don't use the phone for web browsing anyway.
