BIS vs BES? WHAT UP?

Upgrading to a BB. Have seen posts about pricing for BIS vs BES. What does this mean? I have my own small biz and URL, but not a corporate server or anything like that. My email is 'mycompany.com' not a hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail. Would love to get the $29 plan, which I hear is okay if you're 'BIS.'

Please help!! I'm lost in acronym land.

BES is for corporations that run their own Blackberry email server- you will probably go with the BIS, Blackberry Internet Server. It allows you to get all of your POP mail, plus tie into your company's Microsoft Exchange server for corporate mail.

Thanks for the clarification. I just ordered the Pearl with the $29 plan; I don't have a MS Exchange server, so sounds like the BIS will work just fine!
