Got mine today. Phone looks great. Email questions I have
With the Verizon Webmail can you be notified when you receive a new email? Also to get to it do you have to go to get it now and on the go each time or is there a way to keep that open on your phone?
With wireless sync is that push email. Ive always had devices with wireless sync so can someone tell me if the $19.99 a month is worth it or not. I have multiple email accounts that i need to check throughout the day

mobile email alerts u everytime u have an email. i think its realtime or better quite frankly. sometimes im in front of the computer and my phone beeps b4 my computer. i think its a very good program. i have 3 email accts on there and all get checked on my phone

Thanks. I have it set for email notification but it doesnt seem to be working. Maybe Im doing something wrong. Also are you able to view the email from the front of the phone or do you have to flip it open. Anyone know?

oh, actually i have been flipping it open bc i dont see the ignore or view options on the outside screen. lil annoying but hopefully just a bug

How do you set up an email notification? I went to 2 different Verizon Stores to play around with the Voyager which is simply amazing but it'll tell you how mnay emails you have?

In the account, choose options or settings, and the first thing should be the email alerts, just put a check mark in the box.-

So once you have this set up, the Voyager will alert you that you have a new email message regardless of whether you're on the Internet or not? Say for example if you're texting or doing something else on the phone...

Mobile email is pretty strong. Sometimes I get email before my blackberry, serious and I'm not a fanboy. Do you know what this means?
Anyway, the alerts are not that consistant when I tried repeatedly to beat the blackberry. However, I am thinking that if the blackberry gets it first then it may trump the mobile email. Who knows, it is still quick as hec dollgurnett!

MY EMAIL ALERTS STOPPED A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. FOR THE LAST MONTH THEY WOULD BE PUSHED TO THE FRONT SCREEN. I COULD OPEN THE PHONE, PUSH ONE BUTTON AND IT WOULD TAKE MY TO MY EMAIL---NO MORE. TECH SUPPORT TOLD ME TO GET THE NEW UPDATE. ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE IT SOLVED WITH THE NEW UPDATE?

Do you know if there's a way to speed up notification? I'm getting email alerts, but sometimes it's 30 mins after it appeared on my computer.

you know...i honestly think it must be the phone because with my 8300 they were literally up to the minute if notbefore they got to my computer. Im hoping its ust a glitch that a few updates will fix. I am just checking it much more often which is kind of annoying but not the end of the world for me. gluck
