Pre-order date?

This must mean the pre-orders will arrive before July 10th. Has anyone heard if this is the case? Mine still says July 11th under order status.

I believe in laying on hands though - when it becomes available go to the store and test drive it. The US version of the Galaxy ...

The Galaxy Nexus on VZW is well known for signal issues. I live in a full signal area and that phone would still drop calls or drop out the audio when in a call. I'd sell that phone on eBay & get a strong signal performer like the Moto Razr, if you need 4G.

Yes you can - one of the many conveniences of having a sim card (4G).

Of course it can be added on and there is nothing illegal about doing it. Do you remember a few weeks back when AT&T was doing this for customers who have iPhones to keep them from going to Verizon. Really, Will is a reputable person and just wants to make some commission as we all do. You need to chill and quit accusing people of wrong doing.

Sometimes using a hair dryer also helps. Give it at least 24 hours to dry out before turning it on to test it.

It more than likely is the network in your area not the phones. A new OS will not help your situation. Your phones are not very old. I would try out a different network on one of the lines before switching all of them over. Good Luck -

You are better off staying with the G1 on T-Mobile. The Droid would be the best choice if you have to make the move to Verizon.

I had an iphone on At&t. I have used the 2G, 3G, 3GS on their service. I loved the phone but got endless dropped calls and dead-air calls. This was all over Arizona. I switched my iphone to Tmobile's service and do not have any dropped calls (it's been 3 wks) and voice quality is excellent. This is my experience with the iphone and it made a huge difference not using it on At&t. I ...

This plan will be nationwide shortly but apparently it is only a "Loyalty Plan for customers of 22 months or more" in San Francisico. As I stated before, this is not going to go over well for new customers of Tmobile's. It is great they are rewarding their longtime customers but it will upset potential new & existing customers who this plan will not be made available to. I also use the Invisible Shield by Zagg on my Storm. It works very well. I can barely notice it is on there. They have a kiosk in a few malls by me so I went there and had them install it. I have used them for several of my touch screen phones & have never had a problem with the sensitivity of the touch. Give them a try I think you will be pleased.

I heard from a very reliable manager at a Tmobile Direct store that the Storm will be coming out on Tmobile in February. No, he is not talking about the 8900 which will be out on Feb. 11. Can anyone else confirm this. My main question is it going to be 3G or just Edge w/wifi like the 8900??

That is a good question. I was wondering the same thing. I use to have an instinct but the slow browser & poor page rendering was the main reason I returned it. I don't think this phone can compete with the iphone and not just because of the browser. Yes, it does have some very nice features but there are to many features that need major updates.
