for the BlackBerry Torch 9800:
Blackberry has a winner in the Torch
I have an iPhone4, Samsung Captivate & a Blackberry Torch. The Torch is the best Blackberry phone available. It is leaps and bounds better than the only other touchscreen Berry, the Storm. It works very well on At&t's network. It has better reception than the iPhone 4 and on par with the Captivate. I highly recommend this phone to anyone. Pro's Reception was excellent New Operating System is a huge improvement Touchscreen w/slider is convenient & easy to ...

for the Pantech Pursuit:
Nice Small Phone with Great Clarity & Reception
I use this phone as my weekend phone since I do not want to carry my smartphone on the weekend. It is a nice size and the touchscreen works well. I am surprised how loud the ringer is and how clear and loud my calls are. My reception has been very good as well. I recommend this phone for anyone who does not want a smartphone and just wants a small phone that has lots of extras in the ...

for the Palm Pre Plus (CDMA):
One of the Best Smartphones
Overall this is an excellent smartphone and the web os is easy to get use to. I am most impressed with call clarity and reception which are both above average on this handset. Pro's Excellent reception Small Size Display Camera seems more like a 5mp than a 3mp Multi-tasking works great Touchscreen has pinch & zoom Google account syncing Email works well Con's Keypad types same letter twice even though it is only pressed one time (glad another reviewer noticed this also) Keys are a little to close ...

for the HTC myTouch 3G / Magic:
Great Phone but not without Issues
This is a great phone for anyone who uses the internet often and prefers a touchscreen. If you text alot I do not recommend it. Pro's Large Screen Handset comes in 3 colors Lightweight Great Reception Market Store MMS & Video Loud Volume on earpiece Email Appl Con's Keypad is terrible (if you text alot download a different keypad or don't get this phone) Ringer is way to quiet Screen is not as touch-sensitive as it needs to be, sometimes you have to press several times to get a response Camera is ...

Zn5 on Tmobile
Great phone by Motorola. Everything works well & it is one of the best camera phones available. Pros Display & Resolution Camera (more like a real camera) Zenon Flash Excellent Reception Loud Speakerphone Loud earpiece Cover for camera lens Battery Life Ease of Use 5mp w/Kodak Cons Texting is a little difficult due to keypad I recommend this phone to anyone who enjoys a cameraphone as opposed to a smartphone. I am hoping they come out with a smartphone with all these features.

for the HTC Touch Diamond (CDMA):
The only thing Hot about this phone is the Battery!
I have two major complaints about this phone: 1. Battery Life is terrible Battery gets very very hot 2. Drops calls frequently in places I never drop calls with Sprint This phone is all flash and no substance. The touch screen works poorly when emailing &/or texting. If you use your phone to talk or text/email on it it will not work well. I have had several Sprint Phones & never ...

for the Apple iPhone 3G:
Overall Iphone is the Best out there
Overall the iphone is the best phone on the market. It has many features others do not have and truly operates more like a computer than a phone. Pro's Screen size & Resolution Ease of use Camera Wi-Fi Google Maps Personalization Apps Store (many free) Safari Browser Con's 3G is pretty worthless; Better reception on Edge AT&T network is sub-par No MMS Browser bumps you back to home screen now & then This phone isn't for everyone. If you like customizing your phone & enjoy a nice screen for ...

for the LG Vu / CU920 / CU915:
Good Job LG & AT&T
If you like a big display, touchscreen, great pictures, videos, html web browser, 3G speeds & throw in Mobile Tv then this phone is for you. Pro's Great display Lightweight Touchscreen works well 2mp camera takes good pictures Reception Volume is loud (both earpiece & speakerphone) Battery life is very good for a display this size Con's Mobile Tv needs 'real time tv' Keylock after on a call will not turn off permanently - this makes it very hard when needing to input more numbers after connected. Keyguard can ...

for the Samsung SGH-A737 / SGH-A736:
Not a Keeper
The reception on this phone is absolutely terrible. I get very poor signal in areas that are normally very good for reception. This is the most important function of a phone and this one fails miserably. Also, the display on this phone is sub-par for a Samsung. Don't be fooled by the looks of this phone. It is nice looking and has many features to enjoy. It is great to have 3G. The volume ...

for the Pantech Duo C810:
DUO GETS MY RESPECT
I have had this phone a few weeks and am really enjoying it. It works well & the design is the best out there. It is not flimsy like others have said. I suppose if you are ruff on phones this may not be for you but it holds up very well under normal usage. Pro: Design Nice size Great keyboards (2) Reception Battery life is very good Con: WM6 (never been a big fan of Windows Mobile) Call Clarity - sometimes it is very ...

Excellent Phone
I have been using the Centro for 3 days now and am loving it. I have had many other PDA's on different networks and I will say this one is my favorite. Pro's: Excellent Reception Excellent Speakerphone Nice small size Blazer Browser & Sprint is very fast UI is easy to learn (for me at least) Con's: Keys are a little small; If you have large fingers this may be an issue for you; Camera should be at least 2mp (but I am not marking off ...

for the Apple iPhone:
Apple has My Vote
This phone is the most unique, innovative phone out in the market. Mine works great and I have no complaints. Yes, there needs to be and will be some software updates in the near future. It is nice to be able to deal directly with the manufacturer instead of at&t's warranty dept, if needed.

for the BlackBerry Curve 8300:
Excellent Phone
I have had the Curve about 5 days now and love it. I am extremely picky about my phones and have had almost every phone & Pda Cingular/at&t carries. Pro's 2MP Camera takes excellent pixs (for a phone) Improved media player over Pearl Good Reception Qwerty keyboard Speaker-phone & Earpiece are nice and loud Spell check is a plus Con's Too many at&t shop icons (can be hidden though) Wish it had video capture~

for the Nokia N75:
First Impressions- Large & Clunky
This phone really surprised me. I am a big fan of Nokia and have had several of their phones. I was expecting much more out of them. Pro's Loud Earpiece Good Reception Large Display Con's Build quality is poor (cheap plastic) Phone is too large, very clunky Smudges very easily Operating system lags a little Picture I.D. is thumbnail size (with such a large display why so small??) Switches between 3G & Edge signals often (if you are in range of both) I am sorry to say this phone ...

for the Palm Treo 750:
Treo 750 Cingular - Worth the $
I tried out the 8525 & the Pearl only to return them both. When I purchased the 750 I was not expecting much but was happily surprised. Pro's Clear call quality Great RF Speaker-phone is very loud & clear Screen size is large Keypad is very easy to use Pictures turn out very clear & sharp Video works well Windows Mobile is a plus (no palm OS) Rubberized feel is easy to hold Con's PDA Connect plan but connects through wap.cingular (I can get around the proxy ...

for the Samsung SYNC SGH-A707:
Worth Buying - Very Good Phone
I am liking this phone alot. I have had it for a week now. I was hesitant due to Samsung's reception and volume issues in the past. I also have a SE 810i which I will be comparing it to below. Pro's Thin & Lightweight Volume is loud (louder than 810i) 3G works well Nice large, bright Display Con's Reception is good but not great (810i is better, so are Nokia's) Camera is good (810i camera is much better) Backlight stays on while charging I don't use ...

for the LG CU500:
Did not work well in my area
I had the CU500 for 2 days and returned it. My main reason for not keeping it the hard hand-offs between 3G and 2G towers. Below is my review: Pro's Loud Volume Good Speakerphone Reception was Good 3G data is very very fast Con's Drops calls (during 3g to 2g hand-offs) Calls sound tinny Display is 65k (not enough for pixs) Camera pixs are dark & colors are not good Handset is large

for the Pantech PG-C300 / C3:
Great Little Phone
Great little phone - This phone is nice and small but may be a bit small for a guy. It reminds me a little of the 'zoolander phone'. I am using this phone on a contract plan & am very happy with it. Pros: Excellent reception Loud Ringer Loud earpiece Clear sound Both displays r very clear w/good resolution Flashlight Small Size Inexpensive Long battery life Cons: Speakerphone isn't good No Video

for the Samsung SGH-D807 / D806:
Nice Looking but fails in the Reception Dept
I agree with sam912's review on this phone. However, I live in Cingy's highest signal area so it still works inside my home, most of the time. I do experience some dropped calls & garbling once or twice a day. If you live in a low signal area you will not do well with this phone. Pro's Great features Nice display Nice Size Camera takes decent pixs Con's Reception Call Quality Videos/MMS are too short (have to reset page duration everytime to make longer) Audios/MMS are ...

for the Nokia 6270:
Nokia 6270 Excellent Phone
I have never given a phone a rating of 5 before but this one deserves it. Great reception Great sound quality Easy user interface 2mp camera is excellent Stereo speakers sound very good The phone is a little large, about the size of a small camera; Doesn't bother me since all features function so well. I haven't tried the voice dial yet but hear it doesn't work so well. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who wants good reception, a very good ...

for the Samsung SGH-ZX10:
Looks Good - Functions Poorly
The main complaints I have about this phone are: Battery life is terrible (does not last 1 day) Does not switch from 3G towers to Non-3G towers quick enough, calls are dropped; Monochrome sub-lcd display - no picture I.D. Mic is not loud enough - people always complain they can hardly hear me (never had this problem with my Nokia); Earpiece volume is average - could be louder; This phone is getting returned since it does not function well as a phone. Dropped calls, ...

Great phone - I returned my LG vx-8100 for it and am glad I did. Pro's Excellent Reception * * * * Speakerphone loud & clear (no feedback) Can close handset & still use speaker-phone Very good sound quality Con's Very cheap build quality Camera could be better (ex. V635 l.23 mp is alot better than this camera) Same old charging port (no problems yet) My 8100 had feedback when I used the speaker-phone or bluetooth headset. It also had major volume issues. Volume would fluctuate ...
