Re: Cingular 3G
Just pushing the post
Cingular 3G
So I heard that Cingular has rolled out with its 3G, but im guessing it wont be or isnt using the 2100 frequency huh? Or is it?
Re: Memory Stick Micro???
der...
Re: Memory Stick Micro???
Because its a public forum.
I have just as much right to do so as anyone else.
Re: Memory Stick Micro???
I did know that.
Ive had the since it came out.
Re: Memory Stick Micro???
Any Memory Memory thats over 128MB is considered Duo PRO. I was under the impression that you knew that.
Re: Memory Stick Micro???
Sony is planning on releasing a 4GB and 8GB Memory Stick Duo.
Re: music file types??
It can only play MP3's I believe.
Re: should have left the music player off
Because its got 40 MB of memory and perhaps not ALL people put alot fo music on their phone and if they do well then this isnt the phone for them and they can easily select from a number of other phones WITH expandable memory that are also music phones.
Broaden your horizons, buddy. They need to make products to suit everyones needs without adding extrea **** that one may not essentially need.
Re: BOO HOOO....Not so.
I think originally it was a joint venture but Sony Ericsson broke off from Sony and Ericsson to become a seperate company. At least thats how I think it went
Re: BOO HOOO....Not so.
There is a handset maker involved, NOKIA!
Re: Forget the RAZR! Sprint is getting the Samsung SLMR!
LOL No kidding.
And even funnier, he asked what a Motorola Crack Phone is!
Re: CDMA...o far behind
There's been no real world testing. What Cingular said is only a guess, obviously, considering they ***HAVE NOT*** tested it in a real world setting.
CDMA has its faults, GSM has its faults.
GET OVER IT PEOPLE, for christs sake!!
There is no one better than the other, they each have their ups they each have their downs, face reality or it'll smack ya one day int he face.
Re: CDMA...o far behind
Yes, exactly, im sure HSDPA as well as EV-DO hit some killer speeds being tested with a single phone or laptop, but come game day with all the users packing into one arena, its a given that speeds are going to drop down significantly. Only time can tell.
Re: CDMA...o far behind
I wouldnt go saying its not as fast when we havent seen any real world tests from it (HSDPA) :)
Re: samsung copied the mpx 300 design...lol
What Motorola phone ISNT buggy? Motorola is like the Ford of cell phone, pure crap! At least these days, there was a time and era where Ford did dish out quality stuff.
Re: Forget the RAZR! Sprint is getting the Samsung SLMR!
I know, which is why I said I'd prefer this over Motorola's crack phones.
Re: CDMA...o far behind
Which is still VERY different from CDMA LOL
Re: Forget the RAZR! Sprint is getting the Samsung SLMR!
If I was wack enough to go with CDMA, I'd definately prefer this over Motorola's crack phones.
Its good... sorta!
Every photo Ive seen taken from a Moto phone looks god awful. including their Megapixel cams, like the V710.
Past that, looks great!! =)
Re: You're just orange with envy.
2100 mhz belongs to the DoD (Department of Defense).
Re: CAN I have a quick schooling please
Cingular nor T-Mobile will pick up this phone. Its a 3G phone and as of yet, Cingular nor T-Mobile utilize UMTS/WCDMA.
Cingular plans on rolling out with 3G soon, but they're 3G wont work on the 2100 MHZ band like it does overseas.
The chances of seeing this phone on T-Mo or Cingular, I'd say, are very slim.
Re: Wheres the Flash on this phone?
Unless you're taking a picture of something 1 foot away from you at night, that LED isnt going to do a damn thing. Although Sony Ericsson does have decent camera on their phones. I can take pictures at night with my S710a, though not the best clarity, its good for a 1.3 Megapixel. If you'd like an sample of a photo taken with my S710a at night, click here http://akaszuba.textamerica.com/?r=3130824
I cant say the Z520 will be ...
Re: Wheres the Flash on this phone?
There's really no phones with true flash on them, except maybe overseas. And those stupid LED lights dont do a damn thing, they're useless!
Re: OH MY GOD
I believe it was the i2000 Plus.
Re: OH MY GOD
This is not the first iDEN/GSM phone.
Re: i disagree
3G has been launched in test markets a loooooong time ago!!!
Some of the cities include SanFran and Detroit. Research the **** and you'll see for yourselves. There's like 7 total cities that have it already launched, but its not yet available to the general public.
There's also 2 handsets out for the US 3G, one by Motorola and one from Nokia.
Re: 3G headsets?????
3G has already been launched in test markets a looooong time ago.
Re: No big surprise
Nextel has the same problem in Chicago, bad service!
Re: bluetooth problems
Return the phone!
Re: can u use this phone to record ringtones?
Yes you can! :)
Re: watch video in full screen
Nobody has figured out how to do it yet, this topic has been discussed many time and we all came to the conclusion that it cant be done or at least we dont think it can. If I ever hear about anyone getting it I'll let you know and I'll post it on here!
Re: Cingular VP in the house
Pssst :D
Re: how do u put videos in the phone
You could either send them through Bluetooth or put them straight onto your memory stick. Use your card reader that came with the phone.
Re: Moto Bluetooth HS850
Check this place out. www.getyourtech.com There are no differences in the headsets except color.
Re: Face Changes
The plase it removable but its very complicated due to the swivel and it's really not something I'd recommened doing on our own. I very much doubt that any store would want to change it either, it's very complicated.
Re: The New s710a Model & Software
Firmware updates really arent warranty related issues which is why I dont understand why he'd tell you that but we all get an idiot from time to time when it comes to any sort of customer service. I've always had mine done for free, I've heard people gwetting charged $30 but no more than that. My suggestions is that you call technical support for Sony Ericsson and tell them your phone is very slow and what not, ...
Re: The New s710a Model & Software
Call Sony Ericsson, ask to speak with tech. tell them you want to send your phone in for a firmware update. DONE!
Re: The New s710a Model & Software
To get the new firmware you dont have to pay $200, Sony Ericsson will doa firmware update on your phone for free, I've had it done many time before with my T610 and my T68i, please dont post incorrect information, thank you.
