Palm OS?

What are the chances the A900 will run Palm OS? My i500 is getting tired and I can't bear to replace it with one of those 1990's sized Treos or the Windows OS i600.
something about a snowball and hell...sorry brother

Forget the RAZR! Sprint is getting the Samsung SLMR!

Eat that Verizonites! 😁
If I was wack enough to go with CDMA, I'd definately prefer this over Motorola's crack phones.

YEAH BUT WHY SUCH A NICE PHONE ON SPRINT PCS...THERE NETWORK STINKS

Saw the Korean version in my store a couple months ago...

A Samsung rep from Korea came through the store a couple of months ago and it looks nice... As a tech I just hope Samsung addresses their reception issues. The best phone for reception right now (on Sprint) is the A560, beleive it or not...

Also the A940 is actually launching soon! EVDO, tilting screen video camera, looks sweet!

Also keep an eye for some new Sanyo's as well, so don't get too excited yet...

Anyone know about using this phone on Verizon?

this phone looks very nice and i cannot stand the new UI for all verizon's phone.....plus the razr is so old school....everyone seems to have one. the slmr would be a nice purchase ....but i have verizon....im very happy about that....but not happy that sprint gets this phone. so....any ideas about loading verizons PRL'S on this phone?
People used to be able to do it. There was even once a hack on Verizon's website that enabled you to activate any CDMA phone on their network, provided you figure out how to get the PRL on there. After that was locked out, the only way to do it was to...

No analog???

I agree...the phone is super sweet! However, one thing this phone lacks which I feel is quite notable, is the fact that it doesn't do analog, only dual band digital. So that means that people in Montana, Yellowstone, and other areas will be in trouble. Oh well, maybe I'm just over reacting...
The more I think about it, the more I think you may be right, in a sense.

This phone will probably be popular to buisness people as well, and they travel, so then they take Mr. Slickphone with and it doesn't work.....

I know that you can get d...

No EVDO Phones have analog
...
Not only do no EV-DO phones on Sprint or Verizon have no analog, but if you look at Montana, for example, Sprint is now able to broadcast their native signal on both the former Qwest sites (cities) and on WW/Alltel 800mhz CDMA for a good percentage of...

Rotating lens?

I dunno....i had the lg 7000 with verizon and i hated the rotating lens on top of the phone. I like this phone, just wish it didn't have that rotating lens. But I'm anxious to see some preview pics of the sprint american model. All my searches online just lead me to view the korean model. I'm sure sprints version will look a little different.

Dunno....Black can be tricky

I dont know about the black, if its too shiney it can look cheap and plasticy, I think a flat black would look better on this phone, they just have to be careful
Trust me..its a good color black. I've held it, used it and made calls with it here in South Korea. The only thing keeping me from buying it i s the expensive price. 😕
