nextel can't even get their service to work in many Metro locations. St. Louis, MO for example is tatterd with pockets of no service for Nextel subscribers. If their phones can't even find the network, I wouldn't expect them to be able to find their phones!

Why must you guys constantly Bash Nextel. If you dislike the service then why not switch???

Granted in some respects Nextel is behind the times but in other respects Nextel is ahead. They've created a nice PTT Service, well Motorola did, that PLENTY of buisnesses use. Nextel truly does save time and money.

This comming from a teen at that.

Look, I work for a company that relys heavly on our Nextels, if I went through HR i could probably get a nice 10percent discount on my monthly bill.

as for E911, too my understanding, Nextel is the only company that has GPS in our phones. While all the other users rely on three diffrent towers to pinpoint the location. I think thats pretty damn impressive.

First off, I would NEVER subscribe to Nextel. And no, you are not the only company with GPS in your phones. Carriers such as Cingular and T-Mobile offer GPS in some of there smart-phones... something you at Nextel are not familiar with! I might recommend suggesting that Nextel find a way to offer their customers more instead of trying to finance the Nextel Cup? Get real! Oh, yeah... Nextel sucks.

Nextel bashers are so funny.

Firstly Nextel is the only... yes, ONLY carrier that gets a signal in the rural part of town I lived in. The only reason I've ever had a proble with signal loss is because of my phone. It's well documented my particular phone has signal issues but I didn't care. I like the phone I chose.

From the sounds of most of your "arguments" against Nextel you need a smart phone to what... feel important? Why do a lot of companies use Blackberries from Nextel to communicate? What? But but they don't have Smart Phones... smart phones run a version of Windows. We know how inpenetrabile that platform is... they NEVER have issues needing patched.

Simply put... make a valid argument or shut up.

Thank you! And It seems you have the i730A since you said your particular phone DOES have that damn signle problem. But I love that phone as well.

Yes Nextel is one of the only companies that do work in rual areas.

Oh heres a nice argument. I've seen Verizon users have dropped calls like crazy in a well populated metro area with 100 percent coverage for all the carriers.

You Nextel Bashers need a life. Unless you have had nextel and gave them a chance, you have no right to say "they suck"

I can say, Verizon, T-Mobile and Old AWS all suck why? Because I have had them in the past.

Exactly, In their SMART PHONES. Nextel IS the only company that offers true GPS in their phones. We all relized that Nextel is behind the times in other technology. But to flat out say Nextel "SUCKS" shows your lack of intellegence. Why not actually Subscribe to a company THEN give your input.

PS. I'm very familer with GSM I.E Attwireeless/Cinguler/T-Mobile as I HAD THEM FOR SERVICE ...punk.

If Nextel feels like financing Nascar with the "Nextel Cup Series" Let them.

Nextel|Done.
