Except that Verizon would not restrict the iphone at all. Look at Verizons blackberries and PDA's. for the MOST PART their restriction free

I see how this would help ATT but Apple will need a huge offer for them to hold onto them for another year. If the iPhone pentrated other markets cough:verizon:cough it would make ALOT more $ from sales & monthly contracts. They would at least double

I told my sister who got a storm in november after the 21st to go in since she and her fiance bought storms together but they told her she couldnt get a refund on the 2nd storm...they have to be purchased from the sale date (yesterday i believe) and forward...

Blackberry Niagara (variant of curve 8900) end of April beginning of May ? I'm coming back to the US in April and will definitly be waiting for the next BB device from Verizon as I have a Curve now but need to upgrade

Did Verizon recently update the *228 menu to add the option 3 to activate device?!? I just tried it cause I never knew you could do that I just went online and typed in the ESN....That is awesome & must be somewhat new because I have been using *228 to update roaming and the 1st option of activating a new phone is new too...

on the other plan they charged you minutes when using WAP...the new plans they charge 1.99/MB...u basically screwed yourself by changing plans...

yea but is it just me or does it seem like samsung lacks in the RF department? I find that my EnV & Moto Razr get better reception and will hold a call in my house while the U740 is slightly weeker and sometimes drops calls.

Your asking this in a Verizon forum just so u know... I had T-mobile & now have Verizon...Go with Verizon, its worth the extra bucks to have service almost everywhere. T-mobile is great if your on a budget but thats about it (crappy signal & call quality).

Wonder if they reviewed it with new firmware?

I doubt it....this review is not very helpful as the battery life, touchscreen, etc. all has been improved with the firmware update. Too bad they didn't wait a few more days...

This is not necessarily a bad sign, rather good since almost all the problems have been resolved within a month of the phone being out. Now the Voyager is even better than when it released so I'm definetly going to get one for chirstmas :D

went to my local store...they updated my phones firmware but its the same as i had before (01.09.02) they told me thats the most recent they had.. :(

I have the V3M & I heard that the newest firmware (the one you listed) had problems & all verizon stores were told not to update V3M firmware...is that true or can i go to my local store and upgrade my firmware from NEWC_01.09.02?

You can pick up a Moto V325i on eBay for like $30-$50 and that phone has the best reception i have seen on the verizon network and its not too bad lookin...check out my auction for my old one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem &rd=1&item=110206297047&ssPageName=STRK:MESE: IT&ih=001 or if you wanna spend more like $70-$100 get the Moto E815 which gets good reception but u may run into problems charging the thing...they seem to have terrible charger ports (buyer beware!)

Yea u gotta port back...my friend has at&t up in albany and she says she drops calls when the phone shows service...plus my roomate has not had service all night where he usually has full....at&t is to inconsistent to spend $50+ a month for...

ok im not all over the place im only dealing with 2 phones...v325i and w385...the reason i purchased the v325i on impulse is b/c it went off on ebay for so cheap (pennies for me)

so i bought a V325i on eBay for $37.35 in excellent condition with box and charger...seems like a great deal when comparing it to what the other auctions are ending at.. From what it seems...The W385 gets as good a reception as the V325i if not better...and besides the blue lights, i find the W385 to have a nicer syle coupled with no red bars!!! SO i will probably sell the V325i along with my E815 and pick up a ...

Ok after doing a little more research i realized i could pick up a mint condition V325i for $60 while a W385 is going to cost me around $125-$150...so i'm leaning more towards the V325i only because its the same exact thing just not razr style and it has a bigger scren & the blue lights... so any input on the W385 is welcomed but more importantly is the V325i owners....hows the reception compared to the E815???

Ok so currently i own an LG EnV and my backup phone is the Moto E815...I love the E815 for the reception but i have to say, the bars on the phone definetly lie...i go to the north shore on Long Island where Service is spotty at best and my EnV wil simply have no bars but claims a signal whereas my E815 will show 3 bars but will not connect to any calls or send texts...I know the ...
