Verizon or T-Mobile

I am sick of being jerked around by sprint and am moving to Los Angeles form the Mid west soon. So, I am shopping for a new service.

I can't decide between these two companies. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at either the envy, BB Pearl or sidekick depending on the carrier.

your best bet would be to go on both of the carriers websites and do a coverage check for the area you'll be living in, as well as the areas you speculate you'll be going to for work or personal. I would love to have the T-Mo service because it's a lot cheaper, and I am in love with the Sidekick phone. Unfortunately in my area, T-Mobiles coverage is very weak. So I'm sticking with Verizon until T-Mo increases their coverage. If you feel that T-Mo's coverage in your area isn't strong enough, you can call them up and see if they have any info on whether or not they plan on adding towers to that location. Plus T-Mo's customer service is always commended by JD Power and Assoc...and the people I know that have T-Mo always commend how cust service...

Your asking this in a Verizon forum just so u know...

I had T-mobile & now have Verizon...Go with Verizon, its worth the extra bucks to have service almost everywhere. T-mobile is great if your on a budget but thats about it (crappy signal & call quality).

Bull. My bro just dropped ATT a few months back, because the call quality was so bad.

Verizon > than any gsm carrier in the US. Fact. 😛

I guess its where you live. I use to work for Verizon and I have NO complaints. I have at&t now, pay the same that I did for Verizon and have rollover.... Call Clarity is better with at&t imo and works better inside buildings.

1 thing I dont understand...

at&t - rollover
sprint - early night and weekends
tmobile - fav 5
Verizon - ?!?!?!??? (and dont say "its the network plz)

😁

If I had to be with anyone other then who im with now it would def be Verizon(some of the best customer service ever there..)

ORRRRR If you dont use your minutes every month then happen to have a family illness/go on vacation/get a new girlfriend whos not on att it really helps out. Verses Verizon which your just S.O.L.

sprint-early NIGHTS(not weekends) do I even need to say anything...Ok i will such a small percentage of calls from wireless phones are made between the hours of 7 and 9 pm that for many people this makes no difference(I know some families live on opposite coasts for these people this feature would be pretty good to have. If my whole network ...

Verizon does not extend you contract AT ALL (not just within the first year) for a price plan change.

Also with Sprint's early night's you have to pay extra for that feature (I think it is like $5 or $10/month) but really why are we even talking about Sprint, there awful!

The other huge advantage to Verizon is the coverage meaning they actually have it. If you are in a more rural area it is a huge difference especially with the GSM carriers (not to mention the better call quality with CDMA).

Something *I* don't understand:

If...

ATT has rollover
Sprint has early nights and weekends
T-Mobile has fave 5
and Verizon has 'nothing but the network'...

...then why do ATT, Sprint, and T-Mobile ALL have higher churn/less customer loyalty than Verizon? 🤣

Guess 'the network' > everything else then. Customers vote with their feet.

TMobile-Best

Listen, however much I love T-Mobile, facts are facts. Verizon is best coverage nationwide. But companies like T-Mobile are not too far behind. Plus when you look at the facts, T-Mo has unmatched customer service, which to many people, is very, if not most important. 😉

Just checked out the JD power reports for the western region. T-Mobile is looking real good there like all of its regions. Verizon customer's rave about their call quaility and Verizon is consistent in call quality accross the nation. T-Mobile of course one the award for customer service and over all satisfaction. Verizon recieved the award for reatil experience however both companies scored that same 5 stars. Phones is the worse way to decide on a service provider. Blackberry Pearl and Sidekick is like comparing apples to oranges. The sidekick is useless without the 19.99 service package. Also the sidekick isnt really big on third party applications so what it does the day you take it out of the box is all you will ever get out of it where...
