Verizon Issues First Set of LTE Specs for Hardware Vendors

Verizon certainly isn't waisting anytime. . .

Sure will be interesting to see which cities have LTE this time next year.

But what I am really curious about is what real world speeds Verizon will initialy launch the LTE network at.
At 700 MHz, I think the priority is not speed but Coverage. If they shoot for high speed at a low frequency there will be bandwidth available only for a low amount of users per tower.

I'm more curious as to how they will get Voice to work over LTE....

I wonder if we can expect tri-mode handsets in the future? 700/800/1900 with 700 for data only with 800 and 1900 for voice and data?
