Now that'll get some complaints.!
The V3m, with the newest software (24.1_01.19.07)
Seems as good as anything in the line up these days, IF YOU want a great phone, reasonable camera, and good size.
**** Anyone who HAS NOT worked with the phone with the new software can't intelligently comment. The software has most (not all) the new features that any of the newest LG or other phones have.****
Adjustable brightness, larger type than most (It's still small), vibrate and ring, bluetooth picture transfer to another phone or computer, standardized mini usb charging port, (when the new industry standard of micro USB is adopted, the currently available little inline adaptor can be used with all mini usb or EMU accessories to power the micro...

Thank you so much for your informative input...it really helps and I am glad to have someone respond to me in a helpful manner.

I have a couple more questions. A reviewer on CNET said that the RAZR is highly sensitive to water and that the moisture from high humidity or steam from a shower would turn the little dot red on the battery...any input on that. Also how do you feel the battery life is? Do you own a RAZR?

It's true. We were told NOT to flash that software version into the phones until further notice.

It was sent out as an urgent email stating that the software was causing issues for some people.. 🤨

The software ending in .05 evidently had some issues with pix messaging and GIN applications ONLY WITH certain ESN number phones.

At one store they told me that they were advised to no longer flash the .05 software.

The newest software 24.1_01.19.07 has resolved this issue and is what was recently released. This is what I have in my phone and got it from a local store on 12/16. Another local store has the .02 software and hadn't been updated. I'm not sure why some stores seem to have the newest software pushed to them and others don't.
(All corporate stores)

Btw, these new releases seem to work VERY well. One thing that was dropped from the menu system was "master clear" and master reset. To clear out a phone book, you have to 'b...

Most Motorola water indicator's are triggered very easily, even the slightest bit of moisture will turn it red. Battery life is not great but not terrible but it does generally go bad. Reception is probably the best of all the current phones though. I carried the RAZR for 6 months and loved it my mom now has it and it's a year and a half old and still works great. I will say that I do see more RAZR's come in with problems then any of our other phones (Motorola's in general have more problems) and the water indicator really screws people, if there is the smallest bit of red the warranty is voided. You will either love it or hate it, I love it! Good Luck!

I have 3 V3m phones on a family share and I've never had a problem with any of them. It does what I want a phone to do - make and receive calls - and it does it well. Like the other poster wrote, it sounds like a phone. The audio quality is great. I also carry a BlackBerry and use it for email and web only; I've never made a call on it.
It's your decision, but I don't think you'll be sorry if you get a V3m.

Yes it is, you still find some people for some crazy reason enamored with it, but make no mistake it's a POS.

no its not that bad but not the best. the Krzr K1m is better (cheaper too currently) if you want something from the razr family, but if you are set on the v3m get it, you have 30 days to return if not happy.
